The Beatrice Years 1967 to 1980 - Beatrice Companies bought Airstream in 1967. During it's ownership of Airstream major design changes were made, Argosies and the first motor homes were manufactured, and Airstream branched out to postal vans, people movers, and hearses. |

The Thor Years 1980 to 1999 and 2000 to present - Many changes have occurred since Thor bought Airstream. The Land Yacht motor home and the Argosy 5th wheel areintroduced, the Vintage Airstream Club is created, the Bambi is re-introduced, and the Safari and International CCD lines of Airstream are introduced. |
