The Thor Years 1980 to 1999


Many changes have occurred since Thor bought Airstream. The Land Yacht motor home and the Argosy 5th wheel are introduced, the Vintage Airstream Club is created, the Bambi is re-introduced, and the Safari and International CCD lines of Airstream are introduced.

1983 Excella 31 ft This is the Airstream the owners traded in for a 2005 Classic


1983 310 Classic Motorhome - 29ft Belongs to some SNU members. It's their first Airstream


1984 Excella 31 ft Very nice Airstream with the front goucho along the street side instead of across the front.


1984 Classic Motorhome 31 ft The first Airstream for these people. It has been well maintained and is in great shape.


1985 Argosy – Square, two door Argosy bought new and still in the family.


1986 Classic Motorhome 31 ft. Some SNU members added this to their fleet of Airstreams in 2009


1986 Sovereign 29ft – This was owned by a long time SNU member


1987 Sovereign – 29ft – This Airstream has several large view windows that don't open. It also has a nice cabinet right inside the door that is supposed to be for a TV but makes a great place to put things that you plan on taking outside (like pot luck contributions)

1987 Excella - 32ft - The people who own this Airstream are full-timers. They have done some modifications to better meet their lifestyle


1988 Excella 25ft Well maintained with lots of upgrades. This is the first Airstream for these owners


1988 Excella 33 ft Sold in 2005, it belonged to a former member of the SNU


1989 Sqaurestream . These unique Airstreams were only produced in 1989 and 1990.


1989 Squarestream. This is another fine example of this unique Airstream.

1991 B-Van This belongs to the Leipper family


1992 B-Van This belongs to friends in Southern CA


1992 Excella 25ft The owners inherited this Airstream from his parent's

1992 Excella Classic – 29ft When these pictures were taken 2013, the owner had been full-timing for 3 years in this Airstream


1994 B-Van 19ft Norman Wong enjoyed Airstreaming with his daughter Melissa so much he got his own Airstream.

1995 Airstream Land Yacht Motorhome 35 ft - Jerry and Dyann got this in 2015


1996 Classic 25ft The owners of this Airstream have several other Airstreams. This is their primary travel trailer


1996 Airstream Motorhome 30ft Belongs to some friends in California


1998 Excella Classic 25ft Don and Mary Lou Damoth.. The Damoth's travel and lived in their Airstream at least 6 months of the year until they quite traveling in about 2005.

1998 Excella Classic 28ft This belongs to Warren and Merna Hull. It is their first Airstream


1999 B-Van 19ft This belongs to a WBCCI member in Southern CA


1999 Safari 25ft The owners also have a cruisette they are restoring. This is their primary Airstream.


1999 Excella II – Second Airstream for Anita
