The SNU newsletter is primarily a communications tool for SNU members. The online version also acts as a promotional tool. As such, we encourage potential members, friends, and others interested in the Airstream lifestyle and the Sierra Nevada Unit in particular, to subscribe to the newsletter announcement list. Subscribers receive emails announcing the posting of the latest SNU newsletter. They may also occasionally receive email announcements of any changes or updates on SNU rallies, special events, activities, or news flashes.
The Sierra Nevada Unit, WBCCI uses two (2) announcement lists. One for general news and announcements to SNU members, members of other WBCCI Units and entities, and other interested parties. The other is for public service announcements that are intended for media outlets.
When something new is posted your subscription to this list will let you know - SNU Newsletters, rally photo albums, and other information for those interested in the outdoor experience in the Great Basin Area.
This list is for news announcements that are provided to the media so the public can learn about our activities and events.
E-mail announcement lists on Leipper Management Group sites (including Sierra Nevada Airstreams) are 'opt-in' only. To join a list, you must request (click on the “join Our Announcement List” button) and then confirm your subscription to a particular list. When you click on the button you will be transferred to a page that says You are not QUITE subscribed yet and asked to check your email inbox. You should receive an email titled “Subscription Verification”. This email will give you link to verify your subscription. Once you go to that link you will be subscribed to the list whose boxes you wrote your name and email address in.
You may terminate your subscription at any time by using the form at the web page noted on the bottom of each message or by sending a request via telephone, fax, or e-mail that includes the list(s) and the email address to be removed from the list's subscribers..
