Dan Randall was a friend of Don and Gail Williams. They encouraged him to join the SNU, Dan attended several SNU rallies and other Airstream events traveling with Don and Gail. Dan was also active in a church camping group near his home in Southern CA. |

Betty Jean (Fischer) Kopfhammer, 80, passed away peacefully at her home on June 29, 2016 after a short battle with cancer. Born January 21, 1936 in Oklahoma, she lived in California, The Netherlands, and Saudi Arabia before settling in Carson City in 1986. Betty was a Carson City Emblem Club member and passionate about helping to improve our community through charitable giving. She was preceded in death by her brother Lee and husband Gene. |

Frank and Steve Burnham originally joined the Nevada Unit. They were instrumental in the decision in 1976 to split the Unit and form the Sierra Nevada Unit. They were active members of the SNU unitil 2001. Both served multiple turns as Unit officers. Frank and Steve were also active participants in WBCCI rallies and Region rallies. |

Teressa TenBerg - Published in the December 2010 SNU newsletter - We were saddened to learn of the sudden passing of Teressa TenBerge earlier in November 2010. Teressa and her husband Joe are affiliate members of the SNU. Both are active on the regional and national levels of WBCCI as well as on the Unit level. Teressa will be missed by all of those who knew her and worked with her. |

Norman Wong - Father of SNU member, Melissa Wong. Norman attended the SNU rally at Ft Sage in 2008. With encouragement from Melissa he had purchased a BVan and was looking forward to SNU rallies and other campouts with Melissa and Roman. He passed away suddenly not long after the Ft Sage rally. We had all looked forward to his active participation in the SNU |

Elenere Amidon was a long time SNU member. She joined in 1977, a year after the Unit was chartered. At that time she was the proud owner of a 1977 Airstream. She participated in many WBCCI trips. The most memorable was the Mexican Piggy Back. In her professional life, Elenere was an English teacher. She served a term as Secretary in the SNU and also a term as Unit president. By the mid 1990’s Elenere was no longer towing an Airstream but she remained an active participant in SNU events until 2003. Elenere passed away in 2006 |

Harlan was a charter member of the SNU. “Scoop” was a native Nevadan, born in Dayton on 1909. He left Reno after his wife died and moved to Sacramento. |
