Roger and Janet’s introduction the SNU was a little unique. We met their Airstream before we met them. That was in 2005. Mt Family RV, the new Airstream dealer in Reno, brought an Airstream Safari with slide out to our rally at Boca Springs. The dealer left the Airstream at the rally overnight so we could thoroughly inspect it. About a year later at the SNU rally at Walker River Resort we noticed an Airstream that looked familiar. It was Roger and Janet and they had just recently bought it. They read about the rally in the newspaper. They joined the SNU at that rally and were active members up until 2017 when health issues slowed them down.
Janet was active in several community groups and events despite dealing with MS and other health issues. She and Roger were frequent participants in SNU rallies and other activities. On several occasions, they brought other family members with them. Janet was always willing to lend a hand. She enjoyed taking her pup, Squeaky on walks around our rally sites. Janet was a caring person and she will be missed by everyone who knew her.
