Rally – Portola at the Western Pacific Rail Road Museum

Thursday June 19 to Sunday June 22, 2008

Additional Information on the June rally at the Western Pacific Rail Road Museum

Arrival time - anytime after noon on Thursday June 19th

Fees: Kitty Kall: $5 per rig per night payable at the rally or online in advance (see below) Special dinner at the Log Cabin Restaurant is $15 per person.

Events and activities: Morning coffee klatch is from about 7 to 9 . Happy hours will likely occur on Friday and Saturday starting about 5 p.m. The unit meeting will be held Saturday at about 1 p.m. following the pot luck lunch. All gatherings will be informal and BYO (bring your own) to share as suits your karma. If you want to coordinate and plan, then form your own conspiracy with whomever is handy! Note: Special Friday night dinner at the Log Cabin Restaurant in Portola.

Weather: moderate, can be cool at night.

Facilities: No facilities. Good level gravel parking area. Please plan to take your trash out with you.

Special Event: Saturday night we plan on dinner at the nearby Log Cabin restaurant.

Nearby attractions: Most of our time will be spent exploring the Railroad museum and working on the custom built 42ft Airstream at the museum. A short walk will take you to main street in Portola.

If you can't make it for the entire time, feel free to join us for a few hours, one day, or whatever time frame fits your schedule.
