1938 – PDF Document - While the European Caravan was in Munich, Germany a man gave Wally and autographed RV book from 1938 Germany. It has pictures of camping, tent trailers, trailers, floor plans, interior pictures and miscellaneous data. I have selected pages at random and some with purpose. There is a small cargo carrier. This was made at Westfalia, by Wally's friend Hans Knobel. There is a listing of American travel trailer manufacturers from Trailer Travel magazine circa 1938. The listing for Airstream shows the Clipper, and the Airlite Standard. The book is written in German. There is no apparent political statements in the book. A reminder it was printed in 1938, a year before Germany began the war.
