Rally – Boca Rest

Thursday April 28 – Sunday May 1, 2011

RSVP for Rally Hosts for the rally : Jerry and Dyann Thornburg

3 Day rally for SNU and WBCCI members. Visitors welcome. A short SNU Board meeting will be held during the rally. Open to all.

Location - Northwest of Reno about twenty miles. Take I-80 west towards Truckee. Take the Hershdale exit and go over the bridge and up the road to the dam. About 1 mile from the freeway. Continue around the east side of the reservoir for about one half mile. You will see Boca Rest Campground on the left side of the road.

Coordinates for SNU rallies - The SNU now provides the means for you to put its rally sites on your electronic map. If you don't have a GPS or a PND or a computer with a mapping program, you can still take the file and use it to find coordinates on your paper maps.

Boondocking SNU Style - SNU rallies are a great way to experience camping “off grid” Our usual rally sites have no electricity or other hookups. Water is frequently not available. For the SNU, this type of camping enhances the experience and we are never without all the comforts of home

What to expect at an SNU rally - Never been to an SNU rally? This page will give you information on arrival and departure times, meals, activities, and other information that will help make the rally an enjoyable experience.
