Location: Northwest of Reno about twenty miles. Take I80 west towards Truckee. Take the Hershdale exit and go over the bridge and up the road to the dam. About 1 mile from the freeway. Continue around the east side of the reservoir for about one half mile. The road to Boca Springs Group campground will be on your right. There is a sign at the turn off. You will be driving about a quarter mile up the road to the campground. Note – the road is narrow and mostly gravel with a slight grade. |

Arrival time - anytime after noon on Thursday April 23rd
Site: At Boca Springs the rally will be in the group area unless it has been reserved by another group. If so, we will camp in individual spots towards the back of the campground. If the rally is held at Boca Rest, camping will be in individual sites although these sites are not clearly defined.
Fees: Kitty Kall: $5 per rig per night payable at the rally or online in advance (see below) Campground fees may or may not be in effect. They will be no more than $14 per night.
Events and activities: Morning coffee klatch is from about 7 to 9. Happy hours will likely occur on Friday and Saturday starting about 5 p.m. The SNU business meeting will be held Saturday at about 1 p.m. following a pot luck lunch. All gatherings will be informal and BYO (bring your own) to share as suits your karma. If you want to coordinate and plan, then form your own conspiracy with whomever is handy! Bring wood for campfires
Weather: changeable. Be prepared for anything from hot days to cold nights, clear and sunny to snow.
Facilities: Pit toilets, fairly level area for parking. packed dirt, don't count on water this early in the year.
Nearby attractions: fishing and boating in Boca Reservoir, hiking, birdwatching, and off road bike trails.
If you can't make it for the entire time, feel free to join us for a few hours, one day, or whatever time frame fits your schedule.
