Parking a big rig for groceries or at a restaurant takes a little planning and consideration. There are a variety or websites and APS currently available to help you determine which restaurants, grocery stores and other amenities have parking that will accommodate larger rigs. Using resources of this sort will make it much easier to to determine your route and destination in advance and minimize headaches and tricky situations when visiting stores and shops. One of the easiest suggestions is to look for truck stops. They usually have a good restaurant and plenty of parking. There are several places that cater to or accommodate RV parking. These include, Camping World, Cabela’s large retailers such as WalMart and Lowes, Cracker Barrel restaurants, and many Casinos.
Overnighting at commercial businesses is a whole different topic.
