U. S. Highway 93

The northern end of Hwy 93 is at the U.S. Canada border near Eureka, Montana. The Southern end is at Hwy 60 in Wickenburg, AZ. It runs along the Eastern side of Nevada from Jackpot on the Northern end to Boulder City on the Southern end. Great Basin National Park is not far off Hwy 93 and several Nevada State Parks are located on or near this highway.

The Great Basin Scenic Byway

Highway 93 is part of a loop designated as the Great Basin Scenic Byway. Ely is the designated starting place. The route then goes south on highway 318 to Cyrstal Springs, then over to Caliente and up highway 93 to intersect with highway 50 a short distance East of Ely. It encompasses seven Nevada State parks, several old mining towns
