Twin Lakes Road heads south from US 395 just north of Bridgeport and about 115 miles from Reno, NV. Bridgeport is at about 6500 feet altitude. The peaks in the area reach up to 12,000 feet. The NFS Twin Lakes and Robinson Creek campgrounds are at about 7,000 feet.
