Crags Campground (SNU Rally Site at Twin Lakes)

Bridgeport, CA is about 110 miles south of Reno on US 395. Turn right on the Twin Lakes road next to the gas station just as you enter town from the North. The campground is located in the Twin Lakes Recreation Area 9 miles southwest of Bridgeport on the Twin Lakes Road. (see map) Just before arriving at Lower Twin Lake, there is a dirt road on the left. Turn left here and follow the road across the bridge. The entrance to Crags is on the left immediately after crossing the bridge. The Group Site at Crags is on the right after you enter the campground. There is a paved road through the entire campground.

Fishing and Swimming are available in Robinson Creek which is about 100 to 200 yards away from the campground, and also in Lower Twin Lake, which is just a short walk away. Access to the amphitheater is obtained by walking a 3/4 to 1 mile trail from the entrance of Crags to Robinson Creek Campground. The campground has water available, flush toilets, lighted bathrooms w/electrical outlets, and lighted information boards. Shower facilities, laundry facilities, a store, a boat ramp, and a phone are all within a mile of Crags.

Average August temperatures range from 40F to 70F, Elevation at 7,000 feet
