SNU Rally at Weed Heights RV Park

Thursday July 20 - Sunday July 23, 2017

3 Day rally for SNU and WBCCI members. Visitors welcome

Location: In the Township of Weed Heights just west of Yerington, NV off Hwy 95. The RV park is up the hill behind the old Anaconda mine pit. This is a full service RV Park. It has a really nice meeting room with some kitchen facilities, a laundry, showers and Email access. There are tennis courts, horse shoe pits and a shuffleboard court nearby.

Finding the Rally Site: The SNU now provides the means for you to put its rally sites on your electronic map. If you don't have a GPS or a PND or a computer with a mapping program, you can still take the file and use it to find coordinates on your paper maps.

What to expect at an SNU rally : Never been to an SNU rally? This page will give you information on arrival and departure times, meals, activities, and other information that will help make the rally an enjoyable experience.

Boondocking SNU Style: SNU rallies are a great way to experience camping “off grid” Our usual rally sites have no electricity or other hookups. Water is frequently not available. For the SNU, this type of camping enhances the experience and we are never without all the comforts of home

Additional Information on the Weed Heights July 2017 Rally

Arrival time - anytime after noon on Thursday July 20, 2017

Fees and Donations: Kitty Kall: $5 per rig per night The RV Park fees are $24 (approx) per night per rig with Good Sam or AAA membership.

Events and activities: Morning coffee klatch is from about 7 to 9. Happy hours may occur on Friday and Saturday starting about 4 p.m. Shared meals will be Friday and Saturday around 6 p.m. All gatherings will be informal and BYO (bring your own) to share as suits your karma. If you want to coordinate and plan, then form your own conspiracy with whomever is handy!

Weather: July can be hot during the day and warm at night.

Facilities: Full hook ups available. Shower room, laundry and other services also available

Nearby attractions: The Anaconda mine pit, horse shoe and shuffle board, tennis courts.
