Rally at Crocker Campground

Thursday June 21- Sunday 24, 2012

RSVP for rally - Host – Bryan and Diane Leipper

3 Day rally for SNU and WBCCI members. Visitors welcome. SNU Board meeting on Saturday open to all.

Location: Northern California – Plumas County - Off of Highway 70 at Beckwourth, CA. At Beckwourth (coming from US 395 and Reno) turn right on Rt 177, the Beckwourth-Genesee Road. The campground is about ten miles up the road. All but about the last 2 miles are paved. Crocker campground is on the left. The turn off at Beckwourth and the campground are well marked with signs. Crocker is a primative NFS campground.

The SNU now provides the means for you to put its rally sites on your electronic map. If you don't have a GPS or a PND or a computer with a mapping program, you can still take the file and use it to find coordinates on your paper maps.

What to expect at an SNU rally

Never been to an SNU rally? This page will give you information on arrival and departure times, meals, activities, and other information that will help make the rally an enjoyable experience.

Boondocking SNU Style

SNU rallies are a great way to experience camping “off grid” Our usual rally sites have no electricity or other hookups. Water is frequently not available. For the SNU, this type of camping enhances the experience and we are never without all the comforts of home

Approaching the turnoff to rt 177 in Beckworth from Hwy 70 from US 395 and Reno. The turnoff is the second sign in this picture.

The campground officially has ten sites but it is more of a dispersed area. Sites are not well defined and there is room for at least 13 rigs.
