#772 - A 1975 Airstream Ambassador

Bryan Leipper, Diane Leipper

Our grandparents, Bryan & Jo Harrison’s original numbers in the window. Newer numbers on the endcap.

Another set of original numbers with a wooden fish nameplate that hung in Bryan and Jo’s Airstreams for years.

Bill Weston and Ken Harris from the MBCU, helped us obtain our grandparent's original WBCCI number. We bought our Airstream from MBCU members as well as the tow vehicle. The Suburban was purchased from Lloyd and Ruth Brown and was their tow vehicle through many adventures.

1957 Mexican Caravan

1957 Visiting us in Texas the fish is in the window by Jo.

1957 Bryan with a better view of the fish. The tail of a fish Gramp had painted on the Airstream is just visible on the far right.

Suzy – How she got her name

About 2016 Airstream Inc. created a new promotional idea. Airstream owners could register the name of their Airstream and join a virtual caravan on their website. Airstream owners received a welcome letter, certificate, and metal tag officially recognizing the name of their Airstream. Our 1975 Airstream Ambassador, Suzy had told Bryan her name many years ago so I went online and officially registered her name. Click on the images below for a larger view.
