Additional Information on the Lassen 2018 Rally

Description: Lassen RV Resort is a private 68 acre camping resort with 44 full service sites in California’s Fall River Valley.

Facilities: Gravel roads. Lots of trees. The park has both pull-through and back in sites. All sites are quite roomy and long with nice space in between. They can comfortably accommodate larger rigs. The park has been described as a boondocking atmosphere with most RV park amenities. All sites have water, electricity, and sewer. The park also has a covered picnic area, a shower room and laundry, a BBQ area, and a swimming pool. About the only thing lacking is cable or satellite and cell coverage is ify.

Finding the Rally Site: The SNU now provides the means for you to put its rally sites on your electronic map. If you don't have a GPS or a PND or a computer with a mapping program, you can still take the file and use it to find coordinates on your paper maps.

What to expect at an SNU rally : Never been to an SNU rally? This page will give you information on arrival and departure times, meals, activities, and other information that will help make the rally an enjoyable experience.

Boondocking SNU Style: SNU rallies are a great way to experience camping “off grid” Our usual rally sites have no electricity or other hookups. Water is frequently not available. For the SNU, this type of camping enhances the experience and we are never without all the comforts of home

Events and activities: Morning coffee klatch is from about 7 to 9 on Saturday and Sunday. Happy hours may likely occur on Friday and Saturday starting about 4 p.m. All gatherings will be informal and BYO (bring your own) to share as suits your karma. If you want to coordinate and plan, then form your own conspiracy with whomever is handy! If there are no fire restrictions, bring wood for campfires

Weather: moderate, can be cool at night.

Nearby attractions: Among the many nearby attractions are Fort Crook Museum in Fall River Mills, the Allen radio telescope array, McArthur-Burney Falls Memorial State Park, Lava Beds National Monument, Lassen Volcanic National Park. Fall River Brewery, Fall River & Wild Rice. If you want to coordinate and plan activities, then form your own conspiracy with whomever is handy!
