The events and activities of the Cantaloupe Festival are in the Fairgrounds adjacent to the rally site and within easy walking distance.

Some of the activities include a Cantaloupe Queen Contest, Mobile Rock Fun & Games - Blowup activities, Mechanical Bull, Rock Wall, Rides, Smile High Flyers - Bungee Jump, Teen Dance, Invitational Art Exhibit, Mud Volley Ball - Put on by Parks & Rec, Cantaloupe Eating Contest, Arm Wrestling Contest, Karaoke Contest, Horseshoe Contest, Lyons Club Junior Rodeo , Lahontan Valley Quilters Exhibit & Raffle, and Little cowboy & Little cowgirl Contest
