Lyon County Fly-In
Armed Forces Weekend, May 2009 was the thirteenth annual Lyon County Fly-In. Highlights include antique aircraft, military and fire-fighting planes. There is also an assortment of vendors, musical entertainment, and other activities.
Held at the Truckee River Whitewater Park at Wingfield, in downtown Reno Nevada. This event includes all sorts of activities both on the river and along the river banks.
Burning Man is an event, it is a community, and it is an experience. For a short period of time over the Labor Day weekend a community springs up on the Black Rock playa near Gerlach Nevada.
