Dayton Rally 2004

The SNU held a rally at Dayton State Park in May 2004. We timed the rally to coincide with a Civil War re-enactment at Ft Churchill. This is the PSA that Ann Hersey submitted to various local news outlets announcing the rally.

AIRSTREAMERS GO TO WAR!

On the weekend of Friday, May 28th through Sunday, May 30th, the Sierra Nevada Unit of WBCCI, the local Airstream RV Club, will gather to watch the Civil War Encampment at Fort Churchill. The Airstreamers will camp at the Dayton State Park, about 20 miles east of Carson City. Please join us for a weekend of relaxation, bird-watching, Civil War watching, and star-gazing. If you plan to come, get there early Friday as there is no reserved group area, but hopefully we will be able to get together for happy hour or potluck lunches or dinners. This area is close to historic Dayton, and Virginia City, too. An Airstream RV is not a necessity, but a spirit of adventure is. You'll be able to learn about the Airstream mystique.

If you have any specific questions, try our Unit website, <sierranevadaairstreams.org> or call Diane at 0000, or Fred at 0000. Whether you have a Bambi or an Airstream Motorhome, or would just like to join us for the weekend, come on out.

Thank you, Ann Hersey, Treasurer 0000 hersey.4-way@775.net **** Gardnerville, NV 89410
