Membership is open to anyone who owns any type of Airstream or Argosy recreational vehicle.
To be a member of any WBCCI affiliated Unit (like the SNU), you must also be a member of WBCCI.
We suggest you join or renew your membership in the Wally Byam Caravan Club's Sierra Nevada Unit online at WBCCI.ORG
You will need to specify that the Sierra Nevada Unit #157 is your home unit and an extra $10 dues will be needed for this SNU membership. Although SNU dues are always $10, WBCCI dues vary depending on when they are paid. See the link below.
If you prefer to pay by check, print and complete the membership form and mail it with your check for $75 to WBCCI. You can also pay your dues at an SNU rally or luncheon.
If you call another WBCCI Unit your home and wish to support the SNU, you can join the SNU as an affiliate member by paying the SNU $10 dues. Please contact SNU headquarters or attend an SNU event to join.
The WBCCI is a federation of local units organized by regions. The voices of the membership are heard via the local units. That is why members designate a home unit that they feel will best represent their interests in the WBCCI. One can join the WBCCI as a “member at large” without designating a home unit but that status, at this time, is a choice for a limited voice in organization decisions.
Each WBCCI Unit is its own organization with its own flavor of the WBCCI idea. As a local club, its membership can more easily get together at events and friendships can be stronger than an occasional acquaintance allows.
The idea is to get out and have fun with your RV - with friends who share common interests. The SNU has simplified it's management and structure to enable it's members to focus on the fun and fellowship of a gathering of Airstream enthusiasts rather than politicking and organizing – although we still need volunteers to step forward on occasion to get things done that need to be done to keep the group alive and functioning and events handled properly.
