I ran across this photo and
letter. It needs to be shared. One of the aspects of Airstream is
the participation in goodwill among people. This picture shows the
warmth that Airstream and the Wally Byam Caravan Club had with
Mexico. Whether it is this picture of Connie Charles, the wife of
the President of Mexico, Art Costello, and Andy Charles; or Wally
Byam sitting in the Gold Airstream with Haile Selassie there was
an impact in other nations. It is the people angle that is most
refreshing. Airstream as an iconic legend has always reached out
for people. Domestically to meet new friends, see new places and
to enjoy life. Age is not a license to enjoy the Airstream world.
Around the world to speak of American families and to open the
door to what is best in the United States of America.
