Anarchy on the platform for the next election (Don’t tell Chris Wallace)

Portland Goes To Hell: The Death Of An American City. I & I Editorial Board – “The fevered rhetoric by the left predictably has engendered violence, which has been met with an equally predictable response by the federal government to protect its property, buildings and, most of all, employees.”

“This is part of a pattern of how the left works: Destroy the rule of law, the backbone of our free republic. Intimidate ordinary citizens into silence. Then support and elevate rule by power of unelected street thugs in Antifa and BLM. The meek may inherit the earth, but they won’t get the big cities.

This is how cities die. By electing ideologues who don’t care about enforcing the law, who show contempt for average taxpayers, and who impose leftist policies on the local community that damage the economy. Businesses and residents have been leaving Los Angeles and San Francisco, and now they’re walking away from Seattle.

St. Louis Couple Charged With Felony After Using Firearms To Ward Off Trespassing Protesters. Tyler Durden – “It is illegal to wave weapons in a threatening manner — that is unlawful in the city of St. Louis” Gardner said in a statement, adding that she was recommending community service in lieu of up to four years in prison, according to Politico.

“The McCloskey’s defenders – including several GOP leaders, President Trump and others have urged Attorney General William Barr to investigate Gardner – while Missouri Gov. Mike Parson (R) said in a Friday radio interview that he would likely pardon the McCloskeys if they were charged and convicted.

Gardner responded by suggesting that Trump and other McCloskey defenders are attacking her to distract from “their failed approach to the COVID-19 pandemic” along with other issues, per Politico.

She is up against both the facts in evidence and a strong ‘castle doctrine’ law [Wikipedia] but that only means the rationalizations get more creative when it comes to trampling the ‘little people’ who don’t toe the Woke Line.

Unnecessarily many Covid drugs, vaccines work. Lubos Motl – “The insanely huge competition shows how much this problem was overblown, too.” … “The companies and universities have already produced many more drugs and vaccines than what is actually needed. This miscalibration is another proof of the fake news media to cause a brutal misallocation of the human interest, of professional efforts, and of the finances”
