getting mad at the TV or computer doesn’t work either

Rage Against the (Wrong) Machine, Tim Knight – “This is a perfect recipe for such chaos. You’ve got an unemployed population who has been under house arrest for months, with the widest wealth divide in history, and an environment of racism and violence.”

First up is getting the facts right. The Floyd incident looks to be heading the same way many other marquee incidents have gone – a tool for racists based on deceit and deception. Support for an “environment of racism and violence” is also poor as the racist behavior tends to be localized to the so-called victim race and to Democrat run cities and states.

“I was particularly struck by this image below, which is sort of an upside-down version of Kristallnacht, 82 years later. [black owned business declared on boarded up window]

You’ve got to feel for the poor souls whose job it is to attract conventions and tourists to this place. Their website is unintentionally drenched with irony these days.

Since I’m watching from a safe distance, I don’t have a problem with all the mayhem, although I think it’s misdirected. These angry hordes are destroying their local Target store (where are you going to get your Charmin now, pal?) instead of, oh, let’s just say, the Federal Reserve located right in downtown Minneapolis

But while you destroy your local Target store you can loot it and get free stuff! Envy of the wealth and covetousness of their earnings also indicate that race has very little to do with the violence. The rioters’ overt destruction of their communities is why they often have impoverished communities. It is the story of the Three Little Pigs writ large.

And then Knight goes TDS and completely misses the point of Trump tweets by confusing a defense against property damage with an offense against others. Such blindness is destructive. The mayor of Washington D.C. seems to have fallen for the same lame biased tweet reading.

Rage against any machine is a fruitless activity. It’s like getting mad at your car because you failed to manage a curve on an icy road.

Minneapolis Riots Are Reminder That Police Don’t Protect You Or Your Property by Tyler Durden – “any unfortunate shopkeeper or resident who finds himself in the path of the rioters ought to just assume that police won’t be around to provide any protection from the mob.”

“But heroics or not, the outcome for victims is the same: they must rely on self defense, formal private security, or private armed volunteers likely to be labeled as “vigilantes.”

A failure to protect taxpaying citizens from violence and crime in a wide variety of situations is standard operating procedure for police departments which are under no legal obligation to protect anyone, and where “officer safety” is the number-one priority. The lesson to be learned here is that the alleged “social contract” between citizens and the state is a one-way street: you pay taxes for police “services,” and the police may or may not give you anything in return.

The US Supreme Court has made it clear that law enforcement agencies are not required to provide protection to the citizens who are forced to pay for police services, year in and year out.

“California’s illegal alien population is its shadow economy and with many of the industries that employ them shut down, the Democrats who depend on ghost districts populated by illegals decided that something had to be urgently done to keep the illegal aliens from fleeing back across the border.

Since the sanctuary state would rather let a million Kate Steinles be murdered than deport one illegal, not even California authorities would be allowed to know whom they were giving away the money to.

Instead of illegal aliens having to file paperwork or show up at an office and present their undocumented passports, the giveaway was run through non-profits that help illegal aliens.

The potential for fraud is as vast as the cash flow is limited.

The idea of a massive illegal alien bailout is spreading across blue state and areas. Maryland’s 250,000 illegal aliens want their own stimulus plan. Pro-illegal alien activists in Phoenix held a rally demanding money for illegals. Two dozen Connecticut legislators have written a letter calling for a bailout for the state’s 100,000 illegals. Massachusetts Democrats also desperately want to bail out their illegals.

And California has taken its illegal alien bailout national with Speaker Pelosi’s HEROES Act offering stimulus cash for illegal aliens at a time when 30 million Americans are out of work.
