Warren, Bernie & Pete Prove They’re As Daft As New Ager Marianne Williamson. Thomas McArdle – “”

“What Sens. Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders, as well as Mayor Pete Buttigieg, had to say would make you think there’s no one left in America who remembers the bleak, bereft economy of the Soviet Union, whose Communist Party constitution painted a picture of paradise where citizens of the U.S.S.R. “are guaranteed the right to employment” plus “the elimination of the possibility of economic crises, and the abolition of unemployment.”

Never mind memories of the Soviet Union 30 years ago; Warren is depending on voters forgetting that from 2009 through 2013 her fellow Democrat, President Obama, pledged dozens of times that “If you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor. If you like your health care plan, you can keep your health care plan.” But when ObamaCare took effect it turned out to be a lie. Democrats are indeed “about trying to take away health care” — and now that ObamaCare turned out to be a quite predictable disaster, they seek to take it away from everyone.

The dangerous nuttiness extended to much else.

What separates the wacky New Ager from the three conventional leftist politicians who stood center stage Tuesday night is that at least Williamson admits she believes the moon is made of green cheese.

“California Should Be Embarrassed” – State Passes Law Banning Trump From Ballot Unless Tax Returns Released. Tyler Durden – “Surprisingly, Trump was joined in his outrage by some liberal pundits who have stood out for their opposition to Trump’s ideas.

Gov. Newsom signs law requiring candidates to release tax returns to qualify for state primary. John Sexton – “the Sacramento Bee reports the new law could impact some Democrats, including their leading candidate … This is another feel-good moment for the resistance but it’s not likely to withstand a court challenge

Master of the Tweet. J.R. Dunn – “With his tweets, which cost him nothing and require almost no effort, Trump has done more damage to the left than the last half-dozen Republican presidents.

“But everybody makes errors, particularly in evolving a new technique, a process that relies on working through failures. And it can’t be said that Trump has made any such errors lately. His use of the tweet in recent years has been no less than adroit, the results a marvel. They and their effect will be studied for decades to come.

To deprive Trump of the tweet would be to deprive Cyrano of his sword, Bond of his Walther, or Richtofen of his Fokker Triplane. It would be worse than a blunder, it would be a crime. The GOP and conservatism in general have been on the run for decades. It was Donald Trump who turned this around, and in no small part due to the weapon he has created in the aggressive tweet. It’s time to recognize that the 1890s are long over, that the day of white-glove politics has ended, and that any weapon is acceptable against the kind of trash that comprises the modern American left. Trump’s supporters should not be criticizing him or turning away in embarrassment – they should be paying close attention to learn how it’s done.

“Without Evidence”. John Hinderaker – “One of the left’s favorite tricks is to assert that a conservative has said something “without evidence.” The formula has become ritual, but usually it just means that the liberal employing it has no idea whether the conservative’s statement is correct, and is too lazy to try to find out.

“President Trump knows whether he was at Ground Zero, and his saying he was there is evidence. Now, an MSNBC left-winger might arbitrarily choose to disbelieve him, but that disbelief is without evidence.

Disbelief without evidence? Is that related to the presumption of innocence? What about the moon being made of green cheese?
