Who Really Started the Trump-McCain Feud? By Brian C. Joondeph – “Leave it to the media to resurrect the controversy

“It is also a distraction from the stock market breaking records left and right, a new and better trade deal with Mexico, a country that the media constantly tell us hates Trump and won’t do business with him, Bruce Ohr’s congressional testimony, and other news the media would prefer to ignore.

Insulting Trump-supporters is the same as insulting Trump, at least in Trump’s view. As he is hardwired to do, when insulted, he hits back.

The feud was off and running, but who started it? From the dates, McCain drew first blood, and Trump responded as he always does: with a right cross.

Yet to the media, this feud is totally one-sided. McCain is the innocent party, just minding his own business, when that bully Donald Trump comes up out of nowhere and punches him in the nose.

Wouldn’t it be refreshing if the media did an honest assessment of John McCain’s life, his dealings with some bad players in the Middle East, his charitable foundation and its Clinton Foundation-like donors, and his role in the Russian collusion hoax? Although inconvenient, we might discover the many inconvenient similarities between McCain and the Clintons.

Instead, the media will bray about the half-mast flag and funeral guest list, since their minds run only in a single gear: destroy Trump.

Dear NFL: The new season is here. It’s time to bury this protest nonsense by Jazz Shaw – “Do you think it’s somehow helpful to divide your fan base along partisan lines as opposed to the good-natured “arguments” we engage in as we defend our favorite teams?”

“You have some players – not many, but enough – who are causing you problems and tanking the support of the fans you previously enjoyed. You also have the collective ability to correct the situation, put this entire, obnoxious spectacle in the rearview mirror and get back to focusing on America’s favorite sport. But it will require responsible management of the players in question.

The Truth Will Set Us All Free by Victor Davis Hanson – “It’s time to stop the stonewalling, redacting, suppression, leaking to the press, and media hysteria surrounding investigations into the 2016 election.” … “Mueller has reversed the proper order of jurisprudence.”

“Instead of presuming Trump innocent unless he finds evidence of Russian collusion, Mueller started with the assumption that the reckless raconteur Trump surely must be guilty of some lawbreaking. Thus, it is Mueller’s job to hunt for past crimes to prove it.

While Mueller so far has not found Trump involved in collusion with foreign citizens to warp a campaign, there is evidence that others most surely were colluding — but are not of interest to Mueller.

The only way to clear up this messy saga is for Trump to immediately declassify all documents — without redactions — relating to the Mueller investigation, the FISA court warrants, the Clinton email investigation, and CIA and FBI involvement with the dossier and the use of informants.

Americans need the whole truth to ensure equality under the law and to thereby set us free from this nearly two-year nightmare.
