22 bills for voting integrity vetoed. Deception dogma.

The New Regressive Dark Ages. Victor Davis Hanson — “Arrogance, wealth, and received authority are always the super-spreaders and force-multipliers of false knowledge, and none more so than in the present age. … “Progressives,” especially the media, are most often regressive, anti-Enlightenment, and intolerant people, who start with a deductive premise and then make the evidence conform to it—or else.”

“What can learn from the rise of this new Dark Age mindset?
1) Ignoring reason is easier than abiding by it. …
2) Falsifying knowledge is always justified by higher moral purposes—in our case progressivism substituting for religious doctrine. …
3) Modernism is a poor cloak of age-old ignorance. …
4) “Authority” is often a construct, if it is not based on, and continually audited by, meritorious achievement. …
5) Balzac’s famous platitude “Behind every great fortune lies a great crime” can be applied to false knowledge: “Behind all pseudoscience is an agenda.” …
6) The scientific/unscientific establishment stymies outsiders and claims they pay no attention to “proven science.” …
7) The enemy of science is always dogma. …

Deception Wearing the Mask of Truth. Geoffrey P. Hunt — “Biden/Harris acolytes, erstwhile subscribers to Truth Hope Decency might rediscover the virtues of recycling those election lawn signs to carry more extant messages — dishonesty, disinformation, and deception. — But don’t bet on it.”

Media admits it: They’ve got ‘egg on their faces’ over their cheap dismissal of Wuhan lab-leak theory. Monica Showalter — “When Trump was in office, the media demonized the treatment. When Trump was out, a New York Times bigshot admitted it was the most important story of the year, which it pretty well is. That’s right, the press ignored the biggest story of the year because, in its mind, Getting Trump was the most important narrative of the year.”

Arizona Republican Governor Doug Ducey Vetoes Election Integrity Bill Passed By Arizona Legislature. Sundance — “The DeceptiCons support leftist goals and objectives; they are paid handsomely for their duplicity to support them; but they hide their support through parliamentarian tricks (cloture votes) and obtuse justification.”

psy-ops triumphant?

The AP writes what it calls “news” about the election audits. neo — “Nothing will stop the press from continuing to do this sort of thing, because it’s been so enormously productive for them in terms of political results.”

One year after the death of George Floyd, the psy-ops have triumphed. Peter Barry Chowka — “Right in front of the White House, family members and their attorney had their clenched fists raised and pumping in the air in a radical black power salute reminiscent of the Marxist Black Panthers of the late 1960s.”

“The Black Marxist radicals and their handlers, the oligarchs of Big Tech, the George Soros’s, the Democrats, Obama, et al are now pushing all the way to final victory. They see the destination of their 100-year Long March finally in sight – and they’re not going to stop now.

You couldn’t have designed two more effective PsyOps to transform the country virtually overnight – one right after the other.

The proof is in the reality today. I advise skeptics to look around. Do you even recognize the country anymore? Ultimately, both of these PsyOps not only transformed America – they effectively took out the only thing standing in the way of the Marxist Left that might have prevented or delayed their total victory: President Donald J Trump.

Dr Frankenstein, MD. Richard Fernandez — “One analyst, writing on Twitter suggested that even if suspicions the coronavirus pandemic originated in a lab should prove well-founded, that little would come of it because regional reactions had already taken it into account. The world would move on as before in other words. – But this is unlikely for several reasons”

The New York Times’ Bone-Headed Guidelines on COVID ‘Mitigation’. Ted Noel — “Prior to the passage of the CARES Act, a case meant that someone was ill with characteristic signs and symptoms. A test might be done to confirm a diagnosis by distinguishing among multiple possible causes of those signs and symptoms. After COVID bonuses to hospitals became law, this proper definition of a case was discarded in order to get as much money from Uncle Sugar as possible.”

Culture war: a fight against nonsense

Our Increasingly Unrecognizable Civilization. Mark Steyn — “I don’t know how this happened, but it is just one indication that America, and the West in general, have become almost unrecognizable from what they were not that long ago.”
… “Look at just three things we have lost.” … “if we don’t have open and honest elections, control of our borders, and equality before the law, then we don’t have the conditions for politics or free government.”
… “For well over a year now, we have been living in a world in which it’s accepted as normal that the state has essentially unlimited power—and in which our freedom to decide for ourselves has been diminished almost to invisibility.”
… “our leaders are urgent about nothing that matters and not in the least bit urgent about things that matter very much.”
… “The Chinese don’t find themselves stuck in these sterile, drain-circling, dishonest public conversations about identity politics.”

Paul Ryan Is Wrong To Diminish The Culture War. Ben Domenech — “Diminishing the culture war in this heated moment isn’t just anti-conservative; it has the priorities of the people completely backward.” … “The culture war is real, it is constant, and leaving the battlefield because it is exhausting — and it is — will only leave the American people to be crushed under the weight of woke corporations, the administrative state, and the propagandistic media that guides them.”

What’s Your Plan As Major US Cities Devolve Into Lawless Wastelands Dominated By Violent Criminals? Michael Snyder [The End of The American Dream] — “Our cities are filled with extreme violence, and the blood of the innocent flows in our streets, and yet most Americans still seem to be in denial about what is happening.”

Thousands of attorneys and doctors have joined forces to sue the CDC, WHO and the Davos Group for crimes against humanity. [Humansarefree reported in March]

SHOCK VIDEO: Capitol Police Started Shooting at Peaceful Trump Crowd on Jan. 6 — Fired Flash Grenades and Rubber Bullets on Peaceful Protesters INCLUDING CHILDREN. Jim Hoft — “Julie Kelly from American Greatness released a second video from Jan. 6 protests in Washington DC.”

Why ransomware is on the rise and how organizations can protect themselves [Q&A]. Ian Barker — “One of the main reasons behind the rising number of cyber security attacks is organizations not having a strong security posture and lack of sufficient protection against cyberattacks.”

Life Insurance and Covid-19; Something Doesn’t Make Sense. Jeff Harris — “You would think that during the worst Pandemic since the 1918 Spanish Flu life insurance companies would be hedging their bets to avoid major losses from Covid-19.” … “The fact they’re treating Covid as a nonevent should be an indicator that something is very wrong with the whole narrative.”

It’s not just the asininity, it’s the pettiness, too

Nevada Democrats Push To Make ‘Emergency’ 2020 Election Changes Permanent. Tristan Justice — “Nevada Democrats are ramming through legislation to make last year’s chaotic “emergency” voting procedures permanent.” … “Former Nevada Lt. Gov. Mark Hutchison said the potential changes threaten to undermine already battered faith in the state’s elections”

AUDIT of Elections Update: A Week’s Worth of Bombshells. Stu Cvrk — “Reports of election irregularities and audits and agitated Democrats and their lickspittle media are breaking out all over.” – Arizona – Georgia – Michigan – Nevada – New Hampshire – Pennsylvania –

“Nevada sneaked into the election integrity news with this excellent summary report of post-election goings-on between the Nevada state GOP and Secretary of State Barbara Cegavske (R) who has consistently claimed that, despite 8 binders of evidence and 122,918 Election Violation Reports, there is no widespread evidence of fraud during the 2020 election. The Nevada Republican Party censured her back in April

Republicans Keep Making Completely Unforced Errors So The Media Will Like Them. Christopher Bedford — “Leadership isn’t imposed from speeches by people who had power and failed to exercise it prudently, and no one wants to hear from Paul Ryan.” … “it’s past time to stop playing games. With our children, our military, and our freedom on the line, serious leaders must play for keeps.”

The Media Aggressively ‘Others’ Trump Voters. David Catron — “Tens of millions have been declared unfit to participate in the democratic process.” … “While the Democrats continue to pursue an endless lawfare campaign against former President Trump, their confederates in the corporate media are calling for the excommunication of Republicans from American politics.”

“In Georgia, GOP Rep. Jody Hice (GA-10) will run for secretary of state against incumbent Brad Raffensperger. In Nevada, former GOP Assemblyman Jim Marchant will run for secretary of state against incumbent Barbara Cegavske. In Arizona, State Rep. Mark Finchem (AZ-11) will run for secretary of state against Democrat Katie Hobbs if she runs for reelection. In Michigan, Kristina Karamo, who vociferously challenged last year’s presidential results in the Wolverine State, will run for secretary of state against controversial Democratic incumbent Jocelyn Benson.

None of the challenged incumbents can credibly claim to be competent or even honest. So their GOP challengers must be misrepresented as somehow dangerous. … As to Trump voters, they must be written off as delusional members of a personality cult composed of racist, homophobic, sexists with an inclination toward violence. They must be “othered” and banished from the public square.

More On The Roberts’ Strategy–If That’s What It Is. Mark Wauck — “I make the argument that it wasn’t the SCOTUS’ responsibility to save the GOP. Because let’s face it–Trump did what he could to win reelection. The election was sabotaged not just by the Dems but by the GOP. We’ve seen that in state after state, during the post election squabbling. We’re at the point now that the GOPers who sabotaged Trump–governors, legislators, AGs, SecStates–are now scrambling to fix their standing with the voters. Because they now realize that their strategy failed. They thought voters would be duped by the fraud, and accept a false loss by Trump. Instead, voters realize that the fix was in.”

You Won’t Believe How Activists Pushed Loudoun County Schools Into Critical Race Theory. Ian Prior — “Documents show activists forced Loudoun County Public Schools into a critical race theory rabbit hole because they used a critical race theory exercise about the Underground Railroad.” … “The story of how this all happened seems relatively straightforward, but it is in fact a complicated story of gaslighting, big money contracts, and unfairly throwing teachers under the bus.”

How Telling The Truth On Campus Gets You Persecuted. Casey Chalk — “Canadian free speech activist Lindsay Shepherd’s book, ‘Diversity & Exclusion: Confronting the Campus Free Speech Crisis,’ tells the Orwellian story of how colleges abandoned teaching truth in favor of conformity.” … “It’s not just the asininity of the academy, but its pettiness.”

“State governments, which possess the power to influence public academic institutions, need to take more interest in what is happening in state universities and apply the necessary pressure to stop these worrying trends, which evince not only an intellectual suicide but a socio-cultural one. Our leaders must demonstrate the courage to curb what is killing us. What we need are politicians who demonstrate the kind of courage displayed by Lindsay Shepherd.

On Covid, A “Strange New Respect” For Tom Cotton, But Not Enough. Paul Mirengoff — “Kessler’s timeline shows that the leak theory was always credible. What’s changed is that the theory now can be deemed very likely true.” … “Keep these damning excerpts in mind the next time someone tries to settle an argument by insisting that we “follow the science.” Or by citing the World Health Organization.”

Facebook: People Will Now Be Allowed To Discuss Whether Covid-19 Originated In Wuhan Lab. Jonathan Turley — “There was a time when such a headline would only appear on The Onion, but it is true.” … “This censorship craze is not just limited to the lab story or to Facebook.”

“In all of these exchanges, the underlying portrayal of the public is the same: they are unwitting dupes who must be protected from harmful thoughts or influences. It is safer for them to have these members and these companies determine what they can hear or discuss.

It is a familiar pattern as speech controls become insatiable and expansive. We would never tolerate a company like Verizon intervening in telephone conversations to correct or cut off arguments. However, Facebook now regularly censors views and is running a glitzy television campaign to get people to love the company for its paternalistic limits on what they can see and discuss.

The Case for Mandatory Masking Gets Obliterated by a New Study. Bonchie — “The game that has been played up to this point in regards to “studies” surrounding mask-wearing has been to cherry-pick data” … “masking has become a religious cult for many on the left” … “What the government has done in regards to masking should serve as a warning that everything is politicized and that no one, not even a life-long bureaucrat, should be trusted to follow the facts wherever they lead.”

What Homelessness And Climate Change Have In Common. Steven Hayward — “Never mind the science; go ahead and concede catastrophe—in fact, the worse the climate problem, the more frivolous and corrupt the whole climate/green energy racket becomes. Just like the homelessness problem. The only real “compassion” is for the bank accounts of the elite “caring” class.”

No obstruction by Barr, just by the media. Will it last?

Will the 2020 Madness Last? Victor Davis Hanson — “As Americans sober up, will they reject the frenzy that took the country over the cliff during the most unhinged year in American history?” … “But Americans will wonder whether what Antifa, Black Lives Matter, and the hard Left wrought last year will last when the nation is no longer gripped by 2020 madness.”

On Election Fraud, The Media Are Repeating Their Wuhan Lab Fiasco. I & I Editorial Board — “This revelation of media malpractice, by the way, comes shortly after the press got caught peddling a bogus story that Russia was paying bounties to Taliban who killed U.S. soldiers, and widespread reporting that Capitol Building “rioters” killed Officer Brian Sicknick during the melee.” … “as with the lab leak story, the narrative being peddled by the press just happens to fit into their political bias.”

Newly Released OLC Memo Shows Staff Lawyers Found No Basis For Obstruction Charges In Mueller Report, Jonathan Turley — “Critics had sought the memo as the “smoking gun” to show how former Attorney General Bill Barr scuttled any obstruction charges against Donald Trump. Instead, the memo showed the opposite.”

An Excellent Diagram on Mask Function. Kevin Roche — “If you want to understand why masks may not work to slow transmission, look at this diagram.”

hypocrisy emits a bad odor

Biden Shut Down Wuhan Lab Investigation Probing COVID-19 Origins: Report. Tyler Durden — “The revelation that Biden shut down the inquiry is awkward at best, after the Wall Street Journal reported on Sunday that three researchers at the Wuhan Institute of Virology were so sick in November of 2019 that they sought hospitalization, citing the intelligence report that Biden rejected.” … “now we know that the ‘venerable Dr. Fauci’ was involved in funding research in Wuhan via EcoHealth Alliance, and now admits “there’s no way of guaranteeing” that American taxpayer funds didn’t go towards “gain-of-function” research to make bat coronaviruses better-infect humans.”

Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus R. Vance Jr Uses “Wrap-Up-Smear”, Seeds Grand Jury Story to Washington Post. Sundance — “Everything about a grand jury is supposed to be kept secret to protect the innocent (5th Amendment issue). However, if the motives of the prosecutor are political, they want to exploit Lawfare by leaking information to media. This is the process Nancy Pelosi called “the wrap-up smear“, only this time it is being coordinated with Lawfare.”

“Create a fraudulent accusation; then leak (or merchandise) the accusation to media; then “merchandise” the media report of the leak as evidence to support the fraudulent accusation. This is precisely what Manhattan DA Cyrus Vance is doing with a leaked story about his grand jury against President Trump. You can tell this is the political motive because grand jury secrecy is dismissed in favor of the media leak.

Democrat Mayor Dooms St. Louis with Pledge to Defund Police as Murders Soar. John Nolte — “I feel zero sympathy for the people of St. Louis. None. Just last month, amid a soaring murder rate, the highest murder rate in 50 years, as well as the highest in the country, the idiots of St. Louis still voted to elect a Democrat as mayor, a lunatic named Tishaura Jones who made no secret of her desire to make things worse, much worse.” … “It really is something to watch as Democrats get exactly what they voted for and then pretend that what they voted for was not an act of urban suicide.”

Those Dirty Electric Vehicles And A Bolt Of Green Hypocrisy. I & I Editorial Board — “The hypocrisy of the green movement emits a bad odor. The political left hates mining, but apparently only in the U.S., and maybe Canada. Seems that dirty mining is OK as long it’s out of sight. It’s the same with kids. “It’s for the children,” Democrats and progressives claim when their big-spending plans are challenged. Yet none on the left are calling for a halt to the green agenda until child slave labor has been eradicated from the supply chain.”

The African slavery behind the leftists’ green dreams. Andrea Widburg — “What Biden and other Green Deal proponents are ignoring is that the lithium that is an essential ingredient in electric car batteries comes from slave labor in Africa.” … “Bottom line: If black lives really matter, don’t buy electric cars.”

multimillionaire quarter-educated narcissists

Feet-of-Clay Icons. Victor Davis Hanson — “Our most important and cherished institutions—the military, science, and the law—are losing the trust of Middle America.” … “Americans mostly have given up on familiar institutions for entertainment, guidance, or reassurance. What now do Hollywood, network news, the media in general, Silicon Valley, the NBA, NFL, MLB, or higher education all have in common? … A propensity to lecture Americans on their moral inferiorities, a general ethical decline in their own disciplines, and a strange obsession to acquire great wealth while living in contrast to what they advocate for others.”

In May 2020, Rioters Rained Hell On Our Cities. One Year Later We Ask: For What? Kylee Zempel — “Never forget the destruction of Black Lives Matter rioters last summer. On this one-year anniversary of the Floyd riots, reflect on how much progress they’ve made: none.” … “These violent displays were supposedly necessary and effective.”

Exactly How Corporate Media Launders Opinion To Attack Inconvenient People And Facts. Christopher Bedford — “It’s rare to catch the media machine so red-handed, but don’t worry about them, either — they’re already rewriting the history.”

Don’t Let The Media Get Away With U-Turning On The Lab Leak Theory. Stephen L. Miller [via] — “The theory that COVID-19 originated in a Chinese laboratory has completed its year-long trudge — from fringe nutjob idea to mainstream and expert-approved opinion.” … “What’s more interesting is that minds are now shifting on the lab leak theory, without all that much significant new evidence.” … “Our corporate media is going to stuff this down the memory hole and make their previous statements and stances disappear.”

Welcome To Joe Biden’s Police State. I & I Editorial Board — “Of course, the Biden folks deny that there’s any such attempt to silence political opponents.”

“All of this reminds us of the breathless claims about how President Donald Trump was supposedly trying to create a police state, with headlines such as “Donald Trump’s coming police state,” “Donald Trump’s Talk to Police Officers Was Police-State Authoritarianism Distilled to Its Essence,” and “In Trump’s Budget, You Can See a Country That Looks Like a Police State.” Like almost every other horror story peddled during the Trump years, these fears were completely unfounded.

Yet none of these Trump alarmists is raising a peep about actual police state antics being carried out by the Biden administration.

Maricopa County Forensic Auditor Notes Media and County Officials Intentionally Misleading Public About Deleted Vote Result Databases. Sundance — “It was only because of his extensive experience in the data forensics field that he was able to recover the deleted files; which is exactly what he said at the Arizona State Senate hearing on May 19th.”

Time to Confront the U.S. Capitol Police About Its January 6 Lies. Julie Kelly — “House Republicans unanimously voted against Pelosi’s $60 million payback to the USCP. GOP senators should do the same.”

“Rather than act as a politically neutral law enforcement agency tasked with protecting government grounds and public officials on behalf of the federal taxpayers they serve, the USCP has contributed to the fabulism about January 6 while covering up other aspects to help Democrats and Joe Biden’s Justice Department keep the “insurrection” narrative alive. There’s no question many Capitol Police officers acted heroically in the face of several protesters bent on violence that day, however, USCP brass have helped Democrats define the January 6 groupthink from the start.

Not only did USCP initiate the lie that Sicknick was killed in the line of duty, the agency continued to perpetuate the falsehood for months.

In Michigan, an exemplary young man was arrested for an obvious joke. Andrea Widburg — “Lucas’s situation is so heinous that Jonathan Turley, the Democrat law professor who doesn’t realize he’s a conservative, was moved to write about the injustice.”

“Twenty-one-year-old Lucas Gerhard was arrested almost two years ago in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan, for sending an obvious joke to friends via a private Snapchat. Since then, he spent 83 days in jail, before being transferred to house arrest, where he is unable to go to school, leave the house, or use the internet. And this is all because he made a private joke about his legal AR-15. This is a heinous assault on his First and Second Amendment rights. Moreover, it takes place against a backdrop of leftist prosecutors and governors across America bending over backward to release violent criminals.

If we are to avoid cultural, political, and constitutional defeat, we need to adopt their legal tactics: letter-writing campaigns, phone calls, non-violent protests…anything to raise the volume. While leftists currently hold the whip hand, we keep learning that they are, in fact, a minority because Americans don’t like their values. It’s time to make the powers that be across America hear that those who value the Constitution, the rule of law, and common sense are the real majority.

How Lockdowns Helped Hide The Plain Evidence That COVID-19 Isn’t A Good Excuse For Panic. Christopher Lloyd Goffos — “What’s obvious to many Americans about the response to the COVID-19 pandemic continues to escape the consciousness of the ruling class.” … “Reason would interfere with panic, which has become a convenient tool for the ruling class to control the masses.”

Sea Surface Temperatures and the Duty of Scientists. David Mason-Jones — “At what point does it become the moral and legal duty of scientists to speak out when an issue involving the integrity of science arises? This challenge has always existed but may be presenting itself in a new light over the issue of whether sea surface temperatures near the Great Barrier Reef are rapidly rising.”

The COVID Vaccine: The Facts. Ted Noel — “Until we assess what we really know, we can’t make a rational decision.” … “COVID19 is a lot worse than the theoretical risks of the vaccines.” … “The problem lies in between the clear situations.”

We eat our own?

Major Tech CEO Speaks Out Against Woke Capitalism. Brad Polumbo — “Here’s hoping more CEOs follow Shopify’s lead and rediscover the fundamental morality of free-market capitalism.”

Democrat Projectionists. Clarice Feldman — “I’m not the first person to note that whatever Democrats accuse their opponents of doing, it is they, in fact, who are doing it.”

Dim Dems Dance with the Demons. Noel S. Williams — “Given their mind-numbing immersion in post-truth indoctrination, I used to think that Dems completely lack self-awareness. Actually, it’s a bit more troubling: their individuality is subsumed by progressive group consciousness that constrains them with an ideological straitjacket. They have too little self-awareness, too much group consciousness.”

Mark Zuckerberg Should Never Be Allowed To Touch U.S. Elections Again. Hayden Ludwig and Sarah Lee — “Nobody elected Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg, and he has made no secret of his political bias. That should be enough to ban him from influencing election machinery.” … “After decades of whining about the evils of privatization, the same set of leftists who once cried “eat the rich” and “abolish billionaires” in 2020 embraced a billionaire’s efforts to partially privatize American elections.”

“In Nevada, CTCL appears to have ignored 15 of the state’s 17 counties, which happened to be the ones Trump clinched by an average of 73 percent. CTCL ultimately only funded the two counties incorporating Reno and Las Vegas. They both went for Biden, delivering 92.4 percent of Biden’s votes in the entire state.

In January, the AP glowingly reported that foundations including the Ford, Bloomberg, and George Soros–funded Open Society Foundations, as well as NEO Philanthropy and other pass-through funders, were “saving democracy” by spending gobs of money to oppose Georgia’s recent voter integrity law, register voters in Democratic strongholds, and help “democracy live up to its ideals” by building left-wing coalitions in swing states.

Activists on the left know voters and legislators are concerned, so they are working very hard to spin these moves as necessary if a little unconventional.

but how do you address this without infringing on first amendment rights?

Forensic pathology’s dirty secret. Judy Melinek — “There is a subset of prosecutors who believe, and will not be dissuaded, that the investigative work done by a medical examiner always ought to align with the goals of law enforcement. Some forensic pathologists feel the same way. They label anyone who does medicolegal consult work as a “defense expert,” and disparage their testimony as being bought and paid for.” … “It’s a dirty little secret of forensic pathology: We eat our own.”

Covid’s origins and the systemic corruption of science. Thomas Lifson — “For more than a year, honest and impartial scientific exploration of the origins of the Covid-19 virus has been blocked, with consideration of the possibility that it was engineered in the Wuhan Institute of Virology virtually suppressed, mocked as a “conspiracy theory.” … “How this travesty of scientific inquiry and public discourse came about is a matter of great importance.”

Caught red-handed – but who cares?

Regime vs. Regime. Angelo Codevilla — “We who swear to uphold the Constitution against all enemies foreign and domestic owe no allegiance whatever to the oligarchy that now runs this country.”

“The attempt of America’s ruling class to convict 455 persons of “armed insurrection”—i.e. of waging war against the United States, a species of treason—for protesting insufficient scrutiny of the 2020 election on January 6 in the Capitol, while at the same time it excuses and even cheers the burning and looting of courthouses, police stations, and downtowns all over America, is not the exercise of a “double standard.”

The people in and out of government who do this are not corrupt. Instead, acting as part of the regime—the oligarchy—they are replacing the American republic and waging war to crush its remains.

The sooner Americans realize that we are being governed by people at war with our Constitution and contemptuous of ourselves, the sooner those people may be treated as the enemies they are.

Ashli Babbitt’s Family Suing Capitol Police For Fatal Jan. 6 Shooting. Jordan Davidson — “Right now, we have no accountability — zero accountability — they give no explanation to justify the shooting and they do not even identify the officer. That is what they do in autocratic countries, not in the United States,” Maryland attorney Terrell N. Roberts III told the Washington Times.

Epstein Prison Guards Admit Falsifying Logs, Get Plea Deal To Avoid Jail Time. Thomas Lifson [via] — “If there was a conspiracy to assassinate a man who knew compromising information about the power elite, two of the lowest level conspirators are getting away with no jail time.”

Fake Florida Whistleblower Rebekah Jones Admits Entire Operation Was A Hoax. Tristan Justice — “Florida has remained a prime target for left-wing conspiracies related to the pandemic as the state’s Republican governor refused to embrace the draconian lockdowns pursued by statist leftists in California and the northeast to their own detriment.”

Caught Red-Handed: CDC Changes Test Thresholds To Virtually Eliminate New COVID Cases Among Vaxx’d. Kit Knightly [via] — “New policies will artificially deflate “breakthrough infections” in the vaccinated, while the old rules continue to inflate case numbers in the unvaccinated.” … “To be clear: If these new policies had been the global approach to “Covid” since December 2019, there would never have been a pandemic at all.”

Media Bias: How ‘Woke’ AP Got Caught Lying (Again) About Israel And Terrorist Hamas. I & I Editorial Board — “This is a tragedy for journalism. Generations of reporters knew they could cull facts and quotes from AP stories and trust that they were accurate and unbiased. — That’s no longer the case. … it misinformed and misled the public, knowingly.”

Can New York Arrest Donald Trump? Jonathon Moseley — “Leftists are fantasizing about Donald Trump being arrested, booked, and put on trial. Well, they are fantasizing about that…again.” … “Expect more screaming at the sky as Leftists’ unrealistic hopes are dashed once again.”

So, Barry, Trump Is a ‘Sexist Pig’? Jack Cashill — “In his own most recent memoir, Promised Land, Obama’s fixation on Trump is manifest. In fact, it borders on obsession” … “Trump is no saint, but no one ever drowned in his Oldsmobile.”

Unsettled: What Climate Science Tells Us, What It Doesn’t, And Why It Matters. Rupert Darwall [via] — “The sacrifice of scientific truth in the form of objective empirical data for the sake of a catastrophist climate narrative is plain to see.” … “The moratorium on the asking of questions represents the death of science as understood and described by Popper, a victim of the conflicting requirements of political utility and scientific integrity. ”

Rattling the belief symptom – beware the reaction you will likely get

The January 6 Commission Is All About Revenge. Julie Kelly — “If January 6 was the worst attack on the country since the Civil War, as Joe Biden preposterously claims, or comparable to 9/11, why must politicians and the media lie about what happened?”

“One special counsel investigation, numerous congressional and senate inquisitions, and two impeachment trials later, the Left’s insatiable lust to take down Donald Trump remains unsatisfied. But now, rather than just targeting the president and his family, millions of Americans must be punished for defying the ruling regime—which only partially includes the federal agencies, political leaders of both parties, the news media, and Big Tech. This dangerous crusade is accelerating at an alarming pace at the highest levels of government; apparently, it is of no concern to nearly three dozen Republican members of Congress who are helping Joe Biden and the Democrats exact their revenge on Trump supporters.

The dramatic rhetoric about truth and facts comes amid a rapidly disintegrating narrative related to the Capitol breach—it wasn’t “armed,” it wasn’t an “insurrection,” it didn’t result in the deaths of five people, and it wasn’t orchestrated by “domestic violent extremists”; a new video obtained by American Greatness shows Capitol Police allowing protesters into the building. A handful of House Republicans finally are pushing back on dubious parts of the storyline and demanding to know who killed Ashli Babbitt, the unarmed veteran who was the only fatality that day.

So why are the very same people now vowing to get to the truth about January 6 after continuing to lie about Brian Sicknick?

The official Capitol Police letter that wasn’t. neo — “It appears rather Ratheresque … The moral of the tale is that a fake story can get believed by a lot of people if the perps never quite fully admit it’s not authentic.”

That Garbage Report of Capitol Police Letter Slamming Republicans Gets Even Worse. Brad Slager — “The circulating of the false Capitol Police letter showed the collective state of our political media, and it is shameful.”

Trump Completely Levels the NY AG in Response to Announcement of Criminal Investigation. Nick Arama — “It seems like Democrats have been trying to investigate President Donald Trump forever. Mostly because that’s true and they’ve never come up with anything.”

“But there’s a deeper issue here, that people on all sides of the aisle should be calling out and Trump points it out in his response to this announcement: that the Democratic New York AG actually ran on the promise of trying to get Trump, her political enemy.

Theft in California: Annals of completely predictable logical consequences. neo — “How astounding – if you eliminate penalties for certain crimes, you will get more of those crimes. And there will be consequences to that, as well:”

LA Times Op-Ed: ‘The Evidence Is Clear’…the Lockdowns Didn’t Trash the Economy. Matt Vespa — “Whoever wrote this is on bath salts. Is this for real? I mean I know media bubbles are dense, but this is something else. This is not even grounded in reality, folks”

When the Alamo Gets Its Own Civil Rights History Wrong. Bryan Preston — “The Alamo was a key site in the long fight for civil rights, but that was in 1835-36, not in the 1960s. Santa Anna had tossed out Mexico’s federalist 1824 constitution, and with it, the civil rights of Mexican citizens.”

Facebook’s ‘Science’ Censorship Isn’t Just Wrong, It’s Dangerous. Bonchie — “As big tech companies gained a larger and larger monopoly over the flow of information, censorship became the norm, and things accelerated as these companies saw it as part of their civic duty to ensure Donald Trump wasn’t re-elected in 2020.”

“What Facebook and other social media sites have done and continue to do isn’t just counter to the freedom of expression the internet is supposed to support, it’s also dangerous. Science is not a religion, and it should not be treated as such. Counter-viewpoints based on data should be welcomed, not suppressed with algorithms and arbitrary judgments. Readers do not need to be infantilized to the point where legitimate discussions are crushed for “their protection.”

Electricity Expert/Planner ‘Shaken’ (Texas debacle shocks worldview). Robert Bradley Jr. — “It is tough when your belief system gets rattled by reality. Very few people can handle that well.” … “A little more humility and deep thinking about the direct and indirect role of renewables might just allow any troubled, “shaken” power expert/planner to sleep better at night.”

Just who is the nice guy?

An election audit in New Hampshire may be the pebble that diverts the stream. Andrea Widburg — “My touchstone there is the fact that the Democrats’ and NeverTrumps’ ferocious efforts to stop the count strike me as the actions of people with something to hide. Otherwise, they’d be there helping to prove they’re right.” … “Even if the camera failure is nothing, the consistent Republican deficits cannot be shrugged off as a series of random errors. When a “mistake” repeatedly runs in only one direction over a separate series of events, the hand of man becomes apparent.”

Nice Guy Joe. Christopher Roach — “Biden is a phony—and a mean one, at that.” … “If Trump was unpredictable, aggressive, and uncouth, Biden stood in stark contrast: reliable, collegial, and, above all, empathetic. … notwithstanding the tearjerker life story, ample evidence exists that Joe Biden is not such a nice guy.” – the evidence shows the propaganda narrative is upside down and it is causing dissonance.

Identifying Lt. Colonel Matthew Lohmeier’s real sin. Drew Allen — “Lohmeier’s words were reminiscent of the words and warnings of two great Americans — George Washington and Abraham Lincoln; in other words, the words of an enlightened patriot and statesman.” Compare and contrast with other actions of prominent politicians.

The New York Attorney General Announces the Investigation of Trump Inc Is Now a Criminal Matter. Shipwreckedcrew — “Former President Donald Trump is probably the most investigated individual of the last 100 years. Yet he’s never been charged with any criminal offense.” … “At some point, the Democrats are going to give up on their Javertian pursuit of Donald Trump. At some point, the realization is going to set in and they will realize that the reason he has never been charged or prosecuted is that he always obtained legal and accounting advice, and he followed it.” Do read Donald J. Trump on this.

Democrats panic after internal poll shows Republicans sticking to Trump. Monica Showalter — “It’s not surprising at all to the rest of us, given that the 2020 election was nakedly stolen from President Trump, the entire establishment continues to brush it off as “baseless” if not conspiracy theories, and assorted pols and media enablers have since taken to trying to cancel anyone who cries foul.”

6 Reasons College Vaccine Passports Are Absurd And Legally Objectionable. Evita Duffy —

“Students in their late teens and early 20s make up a demographic more likely to die from the seasonal flu than COVID, making the requirement to take an emergency-use vaccine not only potentially dangerous, but absurd. Healthy students are being essentially reduced to guinea pigs for vaccines whose long- and short-term effects are unknown. Moreover, the unethical creation of most of the vaccines opens the door to concerns of conscience.

Students and their parents have a right to object to this violation of medical liberty. Below are six grounds on which students can object.

Students Are Not At Risk … There Is No Legal Precedent … Requiring Vaccination May Be At Odds With Federal Law … We Are Guinea Pigs In Untested Waters … Medical Elites And Democrats Shut Down Alternative Treatments … The Vaccines Raise Ethical Concerns Over Their Use Of Aborted Fetal Tissue Cell Lines

Who’s got privilege?

Shawshank for January 6 Detainees. Julie Kelly — “The government argues the events of January 6 along with the defendants’ skepticism about the outcome of the 2020 election are evidence the accused are a threat to society.”

“dozens of January 6 defendants already have been convicted by Joe Biden’s Justice Department and sentenced by federal judges—presumed guilty until proven innocent—awaiting trials that won’t begin for months.

So far, more than 400 people have been arrested in the nationwide manhunt with more charges to come, and at the same time, emerging evidence proves law enforcement allowed protestors to enter and remain in the building.

At the direction of Biden’s Justice Department, at least 50 defendants have been transported from their home states to a D.C. jail, a purely punitive move since all court hearings into the foreseeable future are virtual.

many January 6 detainees now languish in solitary confinement conditions, some reportedly abused by prison guards, denied routine access to family members and defense attorneys.

Lang told his father his fellow detainees are being tortured “mentally, physically, socially, emotionally, legally, and spiritually.”

The government, with the consent of federal judges as I wrote last week, is using every legal trick necessary to keep Capitol surveillance footage from January 6 under wraps from both defendants and legal counsel.

Top Retired Officers Are Right: Biden’s Leftism And ‘Woke’ Military Threaten U.S. Security. I & I Editorial Board — “The letter was not couched in military jargon or bureaucratese; it was plain-spoken and blunt in its concern about America’s course.” No it’s not like the letter Cheney engineered. This one is not ad hominem hyperbole and hypocrisy. This one “starts with a call for protecting our free and fair elections, but then turns toward the ominous political and cultural trends of recent years.”

What Will The Petty Tyrants Resort To Once They Lose Their Virus Leverage? I & I Editorial Board — “Refusing to follow the science and keeping mask mandates in place are California Gov. Gavin Newsom, New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, and Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot, Democrats all. No surprise. The Democratic Party is a refuge for closeted, and even open, authoritarians.”

“Once lost, freedom is difficult to regain. “Be warned,” says author Michael Walsh. “If you think the petty tyrants currently making your lives miserable are going to willingly relinquish their illicit powers, think again. They’ve got a taste for it now.”

So intoxicated from their deep swig of power are they that they no longer see boundaries, just opportunities to subjugate. Fight back, or lose in a few years what has made America unique and great for more than two centuries

COVID Skeptics Are Pro-Science? New Study Raises Awkward Questions. Cameron English — hubris reaps its consequences …

“according to a recent study conducted by researchers at MIT and Wellesley College, one of the more overlooked issues is the fact that “coronavirus skeptics,” to use the authors’ phrasing, proved adept at analyzing and communicating epidemiological data (cases, hospitalizations, deaths etc.) related to the pandemic. Instead of ignoring evidence, commentators opposed to mask mandates, social distancing, and lockdowns dove headfirst into the peer-reviewed literature and state public health department data, utilizing them to spur opposition to the mitigation measures implemented by most governments. According to the authors,

The study gathered a lot of useful data and confirmed several valuable insights from previous studies that will help science communicators better engage the public moving forward. That said, several of the conclusions the researchers drew from their study are misguided and risk amplifying the public’s skepticism of mainstream science instead of reducing it.

The study authors clearly didn’t grasp this important point because they tried to frame COVID skepticism as just another partisan phenomenon.

Summed up, this is an interesting study that contains some helpful insights. But it won’t have its intended effect because the authors refused to follow their analysis to its logical conclusion: Americans were misled by their leaders. To win back their trust, we need to treat them as fellow citizens to be convinced, not subjects in need of prodding.

Rage of the NeverTrumpers. Conrad Black — “Their fury now is designed to assuage their guilt. It will not succeed, even in that.”

Dr. Strawman, Or How I Learned To Stop Loving The FBI And Start Worrying. John Simpson — “until recently, I both revered and have been fascinated by the bravery, technical prowess, and clever talents for deception one sees in the rough men and women of the FBI who work tirelessly to capture the worst criminals in America and neutralize terrorist threats. That reverence is now dwindling at an accelerating pace given current events.”

What Do Solarwinds And Colonial Have In Common? Karl Denninger — “ The truth is that everyone did and does know but nobody cares; it’s far more important to have convenience than security.”

Time for Modern Masking Madness to Be Cast into the Dustbin of History. William Sullivan — “There’s still remarkably little or no real-world evidence that masks work, though such evidence has now had ample time to present itself. … If anything, the fact that the same outcomes are observed with nearly universal masking today only strengthens science’s 100-year-old contention. … And yet, our devotion to the idea of masks saving lives has turned our reality into absurdist satire.”

No fix? Always a fix but sometimes it is very very ugly.

There Is No Way To ‘Fix’ The Equality Act. It’s Identity Politics Or Equality Before The Law, And Republicans Must Choose. Joy Pullmann — “There can be no compromise with those whose political program requires erasing American citizens’ constitutionally guaranteed rights to freely speak and freely worship.”

“none of LGBT political efforts have been about private matters. They have been about public matters, such as whether the state grants marriage certificates or will assign children to a certain home, or will allow people to manufacture children to order that they cannot generate with their own bodies.

if any side of this dispute has been invading privacy, it has been the LGBT activist side.

All Christians ask of LGBT representatives is what they claim to want from us: that we be allowed to live freely in accord with our beliefs. It seems that is too much for those using the LGBT issue to achieve larger goals of erasing what remains of Americans’ constitutional protections.

Did 10 Former Defense Secretaries’ Op-Ed Delay Military Defense Of The U.S. Capitol? Elaine Donnelly — “Former defense secretaries share responsibility for delaying a professional military response that might have protected the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6.”

“The former defense secretaries’ overheated op-ed nevertheless warned that any armed forces involvement in election disputes would take the country into “dangerous, unlawful and unconstitutional territory.” They even employed intimidation, adding: “Civilian and military officials who direct or carry out such measures would be accountable, including potentially facing criminal penalties, for the grave consequences of their actions on our republic.” The op-ed was inflammatory, insulting, and ridiculous, but it did get the attention of acting Defense Secretary Miller, whom the article mentioned by name.

Retired military leaders have every right to express opinions on matters of public policy. In this case, however, an op-ed motivated by speculations and political animus appears to have affected the judgment of an acting secretary of defense who should have followed the president’s direction.

In the minds of Washington Wokerati, a modest open letter expressing concern about the future of America, signed by 124 retired military officers, is “disturbing and reckless.” A prominently placed op-ed accusing a sitting president of plotting a military “coup,” however, was perfectly fine. After connecting these dots, what is wrong with this picture?

The Green New Deal’s Shock Troops. I & I Editorial Board — “As reported May 5 by Fox News, “Rep. Neurotic America: Masks Today, Masks Tomorrow, Masks Forever. I & I Editorial Board — “Will enough Nervous Nancies and Timorous Toms boycott Trader Joe’s, Walmart, Costco and others that have liberalized their mask policies to force the companies to backtrack on their decisions (which will help restore the humanity dignity that was ripped away by mask rules)?” … “More than that, though, we are troubled by what this tells about America has become.” … “The “science” crowd of course walks over any evidence that isn’t consistent with its agenda, same as it tramples the Constitution. Today is just another day in which the mindless Democrat-media mob of the left that has drilled fear into a society that was already losing its nerve continues to try to break this nation’s once-stiff spine.”

Security: It’s a Spectrum, Not a State. Leo A. Notenboom — “You can get more secure, but there’s no such thing as “secure” in an absolute sense.”

“People crave absolutes.

It’s true not just for data security, but almost every aspect of life. Absolutes drive political and religious arguments, after all.

Shades of gray are more difficult. They require more thought and understanding. It’s easier to say things are one way or another.

When it comes to security, we need to think.

The pipeline incident and the pandemic panic are two examples where the craving has been leveraged for questionable ends.

Tyranny of the mob

The banning of Trump from social media was a watershed moment. neo — “It sharply underlined what was already apparent about the willingness of the left to jettison principles it supposedly held, and the fact that so many people (including “journalists” as well as ordinary Americans) would think it was just fine and dandy.”

“However, there was an earlier watershed moment, as well – although actually there have been a lot of them. I’m speaking, however, of the quashing of the Hunter Biden laptop story. The speed with which the suppression occurred, and the near-universality of it, was tremendously impressive in terms of driving home the width and breadth of leftist influence.

10 Things We Have Learned During The COVID Coup. ‘Winter Oak’ [] — “One potential positive from the whole Covid-19 debacle is that we have learned an incredible amount about the society in which we live.” … “There is no way that knowledge gained by a wide-awake 15% or 20% of the population will not end up being shared by almost everyone. Once the truth is out, it tends to stay out. As H.R. Haldeman so wisely put it, “you can’t put the toothpaste back in the tube.”

Denying Reality Leads To Tyranny And Societal Failure. Patrick Barron [The Mises Institute] — “The common thread that connects failed societies, from Weimar Germany to the Soviet Union, is an almost pathological insistence on denying reality.” … “Pathological policy errors flowed inexorably from a skewed view of reality” … “Today the West especially is adopting policies that flow from alternative realities that, frankly, do not exist. – Here I list just a few:”

Biden Mocks Ancient Wisdom. Victor Davis Hanson — “When an arrogant present dismisses the wisdom of the past, then an all too predictable future becomes terrifying.” … “Human nature stays the same across time and space. That is why there used to be predictable political, economic, and social behavior that all countries understood.”

A Legal System Corrupted. Clarice Feldman — “in recent years, my faith has been even more badly shaken by continued and obvious corruption all the way down the line. – This week there are three instances that confirm my belief that something is seriously amiss in our justice system:”

  • The FBI’s hidden and far-too-tardy acknowledgment that the Bernie Sanders supporter who tried to murder the Republican House leadership in 2017 was a domestic terrorist.

  • The continued mistreatment (overcharging and continued solitary confinement) of several of the January 6 Capitol demonstrators compounded by the officials’ lies about it and the Department of Justice’s refusal to make available to the public the videos of that event.

  • And a claim by one of the three defendants in the George Floyd case that a key witness in the Chauvin trial had been improperly coerced to change his testimony and the prosecution (the Minnesota attorney general’s office) did nothing to inform the defense of the interactions the defendant asserts were coercive.

Floyd Defendant Accuses State of ‘Prosecutorial Misconduct’. Jack Cashill — “If Thao’s accusations are true, and they certainly seem to be, the State has allowed this trial to drift irredeemably far into the brave new world of mob rule.”

The New Majority Tyranny as the Old Oligarchic Despotism. Emmett McGroarty and Clifford Humphrey — “We are witnessing a transformation from democratic into oligarchic rule, technologically enhanced and hidden under a democratic guise.” … “What we are experiencing as cancel culture, Tocqueville foresaw as a peculiar form of tyranny of the majority.”

Getting Disappeared

roger franklin [Quadrant] — “When a senior military man assails the sitting president, it must be big news. Right? Well that would seem to depend on which party controls the White House and who is doing the criticising. Scour the ABC’s recent archives for reports of not one or two Pentagon veterans but 124 of them criticising the current US President and your ABC search will come up empty.” … “The opinions of one or two former brass is big news if Republican Trump is the target of their spleen. Ten dozen-plus doing the same about Democrat Biden and … crickets.” The other thing to note is the specificity of the expressed concerns and the use, or lack of use, of the ad hominem.

Western Civilisation and its Irrational Critics. Eugene Alexander Donnini — “”

“There is nothing stopping any cultural community living in a civic Western nation from practising the traditions of their culture and religion, as long as such practices do not interfere with the rights, freedom and safety of fellow citizens which is guaranteed under the law—fundamentally derived from Enlightenment values. This is one of the primary reasons the West has been so successful and prosperous; why people from all cultures and races migrate to the West and seldom away from it. In other words, the freedom they enjoy also comes with a responsibility to recognise the freedom and rights of others in their community, regardless of religion, culture or skin colour.

There is an anti-Enlightenment alliance today that wants to destroy Western civilisation and replace it with a collectivist Marxist dictatorship, an alliance between the intelligentsia, the media, universities, politics and big business, whose ships, ideologically, are all sailing in the same direction (away from Enlightenment values) and whose policies are fundamentally left-wing (E. Harris. Exposure of the Vast Left-Wing Establishment. Huffpost. 26/2/2016). Mainstream media are, to this end, mostly “fake news” (liars), globalist agitators and propagandists.

A pattern of socioeconomic failure extends to every single Marxist state that has existed

The basis of rational, reasonable, empirical, scientific Western thought grew out of the Enlightenment and was all founded on a lack of belief in authority: the authority of the church, the aristocracy, and the state. Instead of “faith”, Enlightenment philosophers demanded investigation and evidence to seek the truth.

Getting Disappeared by Google. Vasko Kohlmayer — “I am no tech expert, but I wonder if Google has further recalibrated its search algorithms in a way that certain writers and /or websites – apparently those that present views not in line with the left’s official narratives and which can be said to belong to the political right – do not come at all in simple queries involving a name, word or phrase? Even if you specifically type the name of the website into the query you only get very limited and skewed results.”

The Green New Deal’s Shock Troops. I & I Editorial Board — “This $10 billion show, which President Joe Biden wants as part of his “infrastructure” plan, would be called the Civilian Climate Corps, its foot soldiers trained to work with community groups on projects intended to “reduce carbon emissions, enable a transition to renewable energy, build healthier and more resilient communities, implement conservation projects with proven climate benefits, and help communities recover from climate disasters.”

Three minutes to prison. Nile McAdams — “One can be certain that remaining Twin Cities officers will weigh the political consequences of any encounter they have with the public. They understand that in the current political climate, they, too, could make a three-minute mistake and wind up in prison as sacrificial lambs to advance the political careers of the Democrat hierarchy.”

The Politics Of Ivermectin. How A Year Of Unfounded, Contradictory CDC Guidelines Destroyed That Agency’s Credibility Forever. Madeline Osburn — “Will Americans ever be able to trust the CDC again after the agency mismanaged, lied, and bent to politics of this moment?” … “It’s stuffed to the brim with scientists and doctors and virologists, yet instead of rising to the occasion of a global pandemic, the bureaucracy shattered its reputation and credibility beyond repair.”

3 Persistent Myths Keeping Americans Stuck With Outdated COVID-19 Rules. Cathy Stein — “Here are few of the major COVID-19 narratives, the scientific perspective on the other side, and why ongoing restrictions should be reconsidered.” … Asymptomatic Transmission; COVID-19’s Severity; Effectiveness of Lockdowns. … “It seems that ongoing restrictions do not reflect these scientific perspectives, which have been largely censored or disregarded by policy makers. By blocking scientific debate, the adverse outcomes of lockdowns will continue.”

COVID and the Loss of Common Sense. Don Fotheringham — “Few of us are immune to the all-powerful assault of fear — of death for ourselves or those we love — a favorite toxin employed by anyone whose main goal is control of the target.”

Hilarious Picture From Mar-A-Lago Is Bringing Joy To Twitter Users. Clayton Keirns — “Look at the picture below from Mar-A-Lago, which shows Trump’s employees laughing, smiling, and trying to get a picture with him. Why Christianity And Critical Race Theory Cannot Coexist. Delano Squires — “We honor God when we acknowledge all members of the human race have equal worth. We dishonor Him when we ascribe certain sins to people based on skin color.” … “A recent book entitled “Fault Lines,” by Dr. Voddie Baucham Jr., pastor and dean at the African Christian University, directly addresses the social justice movement and how it threatens the unity of Christian believers.”

“The New Testament is full of warnings to the early church to guard against false and deceptive teachings because rejecting the clear application of the scriptures, even on the issue of race, can cause any believer to abandon the security of a structure whose foundation cannot be shaken for one that cannot stand the test of time.

The Killing of History. Keith Windschuttle — “a good symbol of all that ACARA is trying to foist onto the education system: an utterly irrelevant, wearisome offering from the boring Left of the political spectrum whose only result will be to turn students off the study of history for life.”

Critical Race Theory And Other Leftist Ideology Is Infecting Your Kids’ Standardized Tests. Jeremy Tate — “When standardized tests take up the latest political fad, the credibility of the test suffers, doing a disservice to those who desire a true education.”

When a newly-elected school board member stood up to oppose teaching critical race theory… John Klar — “Cady’s case is instructive of the coercive pressure exerted by CRT radicals against those who dare question the hasty implementation of this novel, race-based “theory.”

Dealing with Critical Race Theory and Critical Race Training. neo — “It’s hard to find a good course of action, and it depends on how much is at risk.”

The Washington Post’s Hit Piece On Josh Hawley Is Really A Hit Piece On All Conservatives. John Daniel Davidson — “Under the pretext of an investigative profile, the Post smears Sen. Republicans push FBI over ‘suicide by cop’ outrage. Byron York — “How could the FBI do such a thing? The shooter, James Hodgkinson, expressed bitter hatred for Republicans, brought guns when he moved to the Washington area, had a hit list of GOP lawmakers in his pocket when he approached the baseball practice, checked to make sure the men on the field were in fact Republicans, and then opened fire.”

The science is in but no matter

Lockdown Mongers Can Point Fingers, But The Science Is In: They’re To Blame. Kylee Zempel — “as the data blows holes in the idea of lockdown inerrancy and the science gushes out, the ruling class is getting swept up in the current of their own failures, flailing at their opponents in a desperate attempt to divert blame.” … “As is so often the case, however, the conventional wisdom was wrong.” … “That data has gone out the window with all the other unsavory data”

“The science is surfacing, and with it the reality that our ruling classes blew it big time. They failed on lockdowns. They slashed our economy. They killed the elderly, screwed students, and ruined livelihoods. They lied about transmission, flip-flopped on guidelines that they didn’t abide by anyway, and turned our cultural climate into a fearful and isolated space. When intelligent people raised alarm bells and offered alternatives, they were scoffed at and ignored.

Now the ruling class is trying to blame those who were right from the start. Don’t let them.

Facebook Used UN Speech Codes to Ban Trump. Daniel Greenfield — “When Facebook’s Oversight Board issued its verdict on Trump, it did not cite a single item of United States law, including the First Amendment, but cited the Rabat Plan of Action, and articles of the UN’s International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights (ICCPR), OHCHR, a UN Special Rapporteur to the Human Rights Council, and the UN’s International Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination (ICERD).”

“The Founding Fathers did not envision a scenario in which a cartel of private companies could control the mail and eliminate all letters that were not loyal to the British Crown. The Supreme Court of the 1950s did not envision Ma Bell deciding to prevent Americans from making phone calls if their views clashed with those of the UN. But that’s the threat that has now arrived.

Woke companies aren’t just sending out emails or threatening boycotts, they’re eliminating the Bill of Rights and subjecting American political speech to the dictates of the United Nations.

This isn’t a clash between private enterprise and government officials, but a struggle between two governments, the legitimate government of the United States and the illegitimate umbrella association of tyrannies of the United Nations. If Big Tech and the UN prevail, freedom dies.

Questioning the evidence of your lyin’ eyes

Mollie Hemingway Is Writing The 2020 Election Book The Media Don’t Want You To Read. Mollie Hemingway — “The ruling class did everything in their power to make sure what happened in 2016 — a Donald Trump election victory — would never happen again in 2020.” … “If questioning the results of a presidential election were a crime, as many have asserted in the wake of the controversial 2020 election and its aftermath, nearly the entire Democratic Party and media establishment would have been incarcerated for their rhetoric following the 2016 election.”

A Phony Insurrection Brings on a Real Purge. Rick Fuentes — “For the new White House tenants, the events of January 6, 2021 ushered an opportunity to refresh the progressive narrative and raise public hackles against soldiers and cops.”

5 Ways Parents Are Responsible For Public Education’s Failures. Jenni White — “Lots of parents today wonder how they’ve graduated children they don’t know and who don’t have their values. Don’t be them.”

1. Parents Believe It’s Someone Else’s Job to Educate Their Kids
2. Parents Have Abandoned Their Authority on School Boards
3. Parents Make Excuses for Their Kids and Administrators Allow It
4. Parents Wait Until It’s Too Late Before Acting
5. Parents Have Allowed Administrators to Usurp Their Power

Bottom line: the education of your child or children is your job. Even if you feel intimidated by the system, there are ways to make it work for you, or to solve your family’s needs when the system won’t. You have to take the time and effort to become the education activist your child needs you to be.

Misplaced Contrition: The Psychological Origin of White Guilt. Vasko Kohlmayer — “Whatever faults the Unites States may have, it is certainly not a racist society, which is something that should be obvious to anyone with the eyes to see” … “By pleading guilty to the fake sin of racism – a most grievous sin these days – they try to evade looking at their real moral failings and thus avoid the unpalatable truth of our fallen human existence.”

If There’s Nothing to Hide, Why Are Democrats Freaking Out about the Arizona Audit? J.B. Shurk — “Compare the highly professional audit taking place in Arizona to the orchestrated chaos of the presidential election.” … “At every step of the way, America’s institutions utterly failed to safeguard the security of the 2020 election”

More Than 120 Retired Flag Officers Call On Americans To ‘Save America, Our Constitutional Republic, And Hold Those Currently In Office Accountable’. Tristan Justice — “The retired flag officers blasted the Democrats’ assault on election integrity, pursuit of open borders, rampant Silicon Valley censorship, re-engagement with the Iran nuclear deal, dismissal of energy independence highlighted through the elimination of the Keystone Pipeline, weaponization of the military to gaslight the public of right-wing threats, excuses for left-wing anarchists in city streets, and the recent confusion over nuclear code procedures at the White House.”

Former police chief: If we lose the rule of law, we are going to lose America – and we’re just about there. Pat Droney — “The rule of law in this country is all that differentiates us from third-world countries. When nobody is subject to being accountable for breaking the law—be it Black Lives Matter and Antifa thugs in Portland, subway slashers in New York City, or Hillary Rodham Clinton—we have truly lost our country.”

Tuning Out Wokeism. Victor Davis Hanson — “The current madness is the stuff of history as we watch it predictably unfold, until—and if—a few, a “happy few,” finally say to the mob, “no mas.”

“What is saving the country, for now, is not the third of Americans who have bachelor’s degrees, given the university has become a woke deductive, anti-empirical, anti-Enlightenment institution. For now, the more practical two-thirds of the population who did not graduate, and either never experienced the academic mind or got out quickly after they did, are our rear guard at Thermopylae. I concede, with the sadness of a former believer in higher education, that an entire institution has failed its pledge to the Enlightenment and we are back 2,700 years to Hesiod’s warning that with material progress comes moral regress.

Grandpa Knew Best. Clarice Feldman — “My grandpa once told me, ”All my grandchildren were born smart. The longer they go to school, the dumber they get.” I thought he was teasing, but now that I’m his age, I see his point”
