Checking the boxes in political divisiveness

a pandemic euphemism; political divides clear; President oath on Constitution? checking boxes; dangerous presumption in commerce; SCOTUS skirts.

Politicizing COVID-19 From the Start. Victor Davis Hanson — “Political frenzy was inevitable since the SARS-CoV-2 virus may have escaped from a level-4 security virology lab in Wuhan, China. … Western elites, in response, feared that their own lucrative investments in China would be jeopardized by such disclosures — and so acted accordingly in defending Beijing.”

Politicizing the pandemic is a euphemism. In truth, thousands of Americans have died needlessly because of weaponized disinformation about China’s culpability, vaccines, useful drugs, lockdowns, racial preferences, and long-care facilities.

Bless Their Little Authoritarian Hearts: Democrats Support Punishing the Unvaccinated. Stacey Lennox — “the poll finds that most Democrat voters support vaccine mandates, and many want punitive measures against those who haven’t gotten the COVID-19 vaccine. – The partisan divide is painfully obvious in the result”

If the corporate media really wants us to believe that COVID has not caused a mass Formation Psychosis, they might want to start dumping facts and reality into the heads of their Democrat viewers. Because promoting punitive, authoritarian policies that violate Americans’ fundamental rights is patently insane. Especially over a virus that everyone, vaccinated or unvaccinated, is going to get according to their favorite bureaucrat, Dr. Fauci.

The dangerous assumption people are making about the COVID shots. Leann Horrocks — “An awful lot of people are making a very dangerous assumption about the COVID-19 jabs: that the manufacture of them is pristine.”

The Supreme Court got it right on private employer mandates. Andrea Widburg — “When OSHA issued a vaccine mandate aimed at all companies with 100 or more employees, every federal judge in America should have known that it was a severe case of bureaucratic overreach.”

The Supreme Court’s Ruling On Vaccine Mandates Is Frighteningly Weak. Margot Cleveland — “The question is, why? Also, why did Gorsuch’s concurrence in the OSHA case only garner three votes, including his own?”

White House Calls on Businesses to Ignore Supreme Court Decision on Vaccination and Force the Vaccine Mandate Regardless of Constitutional Merit. Sundance

The View from the Cheat Seats. Tony Perkins — “For Joe Biden, the Atlanta speech checked all the boxes: a handful of out-of-context Bible verses (check), wild historical inaccuracies (check), gratuitous references to Jan. 6 (check), the abandonment of another decades-long political view (check), and a general shaming of any American who thinks consensus and honesty ought to be part of our governing structure.”

Never Trumpers Get Savaged by Americans After They Show Biden Remorse. Nick Arama — “You helped get us into this mess, which we all now have to deal with. Don’t you dare act upset with anything Biden says now.”

From MLK to Ray Epps with a stop for Fauci

The nature of the human animal; the rusty hulk of a political ship is taking on water; #BareShelvesBiden is trending; new rules and consequences; Kazakh surfaces as another Biden scandal; MLK known by the fruit it bears; empire and history distortions noticed; Ray Epps and more government corruption; COViD FUD.

An Orthodox Rabbi Writes That People Are Basically Good — Judaism Is in Trouble. Dennis Prager — “This is one of the most foolish and dangerous ideas of the secular world. No Abrahamic religion — not Judaism, not Christianity, not Islam — asserts that people are basically good. This notion is a product of the secular age and a major reason for the moral confusion that characterizes our era.”

The Sinking Ship of the Democratic-Media Alliance. Conrad Black — “The Democratic-media alliance gambled everything on 2020 but in corrupting democracy in the name of protecting the country from an enemy of democracy, they tied themselves to a sinking ship.” — “The Democrats can’t sell the bunk that January 6 was an “insurrection;” they can’t wish away concerns about the integrity of the 2020 election.”

Although Trump had a successful administration—practically eliminating illegal immigration, unemployment, and oil imports, shaping up the Western alliance, and deterring China, North Korea, and Iran from the endless provocations they had inflicted on previous presidents—it was impossible for him to defend himself against conditions created by the COVID pandemic and magnified by the Trump-hating media. For good measure, the Democrats seized the opportunity created by the pandemic, to alter election and vote-counting laws in the six swing states they focused on (Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin).  …

The Democrats, along with America and the world, are now stuck with the most incompetent administration in the country’s history. …

The Democratic media have been exposed as morally bankrupt in their rabid partisanship and dishonesty.

The Biden Variant — Not Omicron — Is Behind The Shortages Everywhere. I & I Editorial Board — “#BareShelvesBiden is trending on Twitter, shoppers are sharing pictures of empty store shelves, and the media are being forced – however reluctantly – to report that shortages are actually a worsening problem.” — “Unfortunately, far too many voters were duped into believing that Biden was competent, or at least more competent than President Trump. And now we’re all paying the price for their gullibility.”

Hollywood’s New Rules. Peter Kiefer and Peter Savodnik — “The old boys club is dead. But a new one—with its own litmus tests and landmines—is rapidly replacing it. ‘This is all going to end in a giant class-action lawsuit.’

My Breakup Letter To The Salvation Army. Ace of Spades — “Conservative media has given much coverage recently to The Salvation Army’s heartbreaking embrace of critical race theory. … Unsurprisingly, donations plummeted this Christmas season…. The evaporation of financial support speaks more strongly than any written words, but I also felt it necessary to personally write The Salvation Army to let them know of my disappointment and disgust as I suspend further financial contributions to this once great charity. This is the letter I sent to the local Salvation Army commander last month.”

Bombshell ZH Reporting On Kazakh Situation. Mark Wauck — “Direct Links To Hunter And Zhou?” — “Kazakh Security Chief Arrested For Treason Was “Close Friends” With Bidens” — “People want to know whether he did that at the behest of Zhou. Certainly the Russians will say so—and why not, given the aggressive US moves and rhetoric of the past months?”

Time to Re-Evaluate the Legacy of Martin Luther King. Vince Everett Ellison — “After finding evidence that the “man of God” and “moral conscience of our nation,” the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., participated in the rape of a parishioner, engaged in numerous sex orgies, received cash payments from known communists, and admitted that he was a Marxist, King biographer and Pulitzer Prize-winning author David Garrow wrote of King, “There is no question that a profoundly painful reckoning and reconsideration inescapably awaits.” — “This reckoning should happen because Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King and the Civil Rights Movement have failed Black people.”

In explaining how to recognize a false prophet, Jesus said, “A tree is known by the fruit it bears.”  He said you cannot get bad fruit from a good tree.  The fruits of the Black community, almost unanimously, are rotten to the core.

Alone at the Twilight of Empire. Jesse Russell — “Thomas Jefferson famously reminded those Americans who dismissed the Amerindians they were in the process of subjugating as irredeemably savage that their own Northern European ancestors were likewise considered irredeemably savage by the Romans who had conquered them.” — “Gilley’s book, titled The Last Imperialist: Sir Alan Burns’ Epic Defense of the British Empire is a crushing broadside against the left-wing celebration of de-colonialization.” — “rational, documented arguments for colonialism do not matter in a time in which the criterion for correctness is no longer truth and the standard for rightness is not justice but rather the will to power and violence.”

Who Is Ray Epps?’ Cruz Grills FBI on Involvement in Jan. 6. Nick Arama — “Jill Sanborn, executive assistant director of the FBI’s National Security Branch was testifying before the Senate Judiciary Committee. That’s when Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) asked some very good questions to which she didn’t have a response.”

We’re having a lot of fun testimony in Congress today that’s very informative.

We saw Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) ending Dr. Anthony Fauci, finishing him off with a picture for the ages which he, Fauci, provided. Then there was Sen. Roger Marshall (R-KS) who is also a doctor like Paul, who grilled Fauci over the DARPA report and the gain of function lie. Fauci had another huge meltdown and, again, had to be rescued by Sen. Patty Murray (D-WA), who claimed she wasn’t going to allow “personal attacks.” Getting at the truth is now a “personal attack” to Democrats — when it might expose things.

But the Biden team had another big problem today; it wasn’t just Fauci being exposed.

The FBI refuses to deny any involvement in events on January 6. Andrea Widburg — “The three most disturbing questions involve Ray Epps, the missing “restricted area” signs and fences, and the Scaffold Commander.”

The January 6th Committee Releases an Incredibly Odd Statement After Ted Cruz Asks About Ray Epps. Bonchie — “he interest in Epps stems from two things. One, he was caught on video inciting people to riot and break into the Capitol Building. He was also on the Capitol grounds that day. Two, Epps was suddenly removed from the FBI’s most-wanted list, and to this day, no explanation at all for that move has been given. The implication there is obvious, i.e. that Epps was an informant and had used his position to actively encourage violence for the FBI.”

The Likely Cause of the Media Blackout on Imploding Whitmer Kidnapping Plot. Julie Kelly — “It is impossible to report on the Whitmer case without connecting it to January 6. So rather than do its job, the national news media is completely ignoring this sensational story.”

Ashli Babbitt’s murderer exonerated in disgraceful official investigation. Thomas Lifson — “American cities burned when a career criminal named George Floyd died in police custody while on a lethal dose of fentanyl.  But Air Force veteran Ashli Babbitt was shot to death by a senior Capitol Police officer — a lieutenant — with a troubling history and was exonerated by an official investigation without even being interviewed. … Because Ms. Babbitt was the wrong race and of the wrong political persuasion, there is no fanning the flames of resentment, no riots, and no justice for Ashli Babbitt and her family.”

Mark Meadows, Jim Jordan step forward to fight Pelosi’s Jan. 6 witch hunt. David Zukerman — “A comment in the amicus brief goes to the heart of this matter.  “For Executive Privilege to fulfill its intended purpose of allowing full and free communication among Presidential advisors, it must be able to survive a party change in the Presidency and a hostile Congress.”

Fauci wriggles like a fish on a hook when questioned about DARPA. Andrea Widburg — “On Monday, Project Veritas released documents showing that an organization called EcoHealth Alliance approached the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (AKA DARPA) seeking funding for its research into SARS viruses in rats, only to be turned down because of DARPA’s gain of function concerns.” … “Major Murphy’s summary …  I’ll focus on two points. … The first is that, since April 2020, it’s been known within the government that both ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine are curatives because of how they interact with the virus’s engineered spike protein.  I happen to believe that the administrative state, Democrat party, and media (but I repeat myself) quashed this information, first to destroy Trump’s re-election chances and then to maintain steady pressure on Americans to conform to the jab regime.”

Our COVID-19 Research Summary – 2021. Fred Lipfert — “Is the Pandemic Ebbing, Or Still Menacing the Careless? COVID-19 Status Update.” — “The published literature on COVID now exceeds 211,000 papers, books, and documents, which include: 22,866 observational studies, 19,591 reviews, 1496 meta-analyses and 781 randomized control trials. These publications comprise the backdrop for our research and writing. The project began in the spring of 2020 based on a limited source of cumulative COVID-19 data and has broadened considerably. Here is what we have learned.”

Rollout Of The COVID Antivirals: Clown Show #2. Josh Bloom — “Finally, there are antiviral drugs that will keep people with COVID out of the hospital (and the morgue). But, good luck getting a prescription if you should need it. The FDA has pretty much guaranteed that this will be almost impossible. Here’s why.”

‘Woke’ Scientific American Goes Anti-GMO. Cameron English — “Scientific American’s descent from respected publication to ideological tabloid is nearly complete. The magazine is now promoting anti-GMO activism under the guise of “social justice.”

Sovereign fraud and lost minds

In the South, it was ‘the war between the states.’ Hiding evidence by prosecutors, state officials, and others is a pandemic. Ignorance runs rampant where reason and care is needed.

Voting Rights, Lies, And Videotape. Scott Johnson — “Yeah, it’s a little over the top, but so is calling it “voting rights.” That is the fundamental issue.” — “Anybody who accepts the Democrats’ terms of the argument by reference to “voting rights” is a knowing or unknowing hack. By contrast with the Democrats’ spiel about “voting rights,” the McConnell critique of the Democrats’ bill has the advantage of truth.”

Hemingway: Mike Rounds, Other GOP Leaders Need To Quickly Learn Basic Facts About Election Integrity. “There are problems with one in eight voter registrations across the country,” Hemingway said. “And there are all sorts of problems with decreasing security with the rampant rise of mail-in ballots.”

Did Fauci Interfere In The 2020 Election? Special Counsel Says It’s A ‘Close Call’. Tristan Justice — ‘Dr. Fauci disregarded its best practices around the Hatch Act and enabled his official position to be used ‘to make a political point.”

When a State’s Secretary of State is in on Voter Fraud. Jay Valentine — “We coined the term “sovereign fraud” right here on American Thinker.” … “Let’s take you through our excellent adventure working with voter integrity groups across the country.  You need to understand their dedication, resilience, and the odds they face when the reddest states’ Secretary of State is in on “it.” — “There is no way to guarantee free and fair elections until citizens receive 100% visibility to all voter rolls, without writing a $30,000 check, to keep these sovereign outlaws or lazies honest and active.”

Wrongly Imprisoned Real Estate Broker Demands Investigation of Ohio Prosecutors. Rachel Alexander — “Viola only got out of prison due to an employee of the prosecution, Dawn Pasela, becoming so disgusted with the suppression of evidence showing the banks weren’t tricked and other corruption such as missing computers full of evidence that she changed sides, helping Viola conduct a successful appeal pro se from prison.”

What Issue Was Really at the Heart of the Civil War, and is it Relevant Today? William Sullivan — “Most Americans today have a romanticized (and extraordinarily narrow) historical understanding of the conflict that we call the Civil War. … the true story is important because it’s incredibly relevant today.”

Dumbing down history to simple, easily digestible falsehoods (like “the Civil War was fought to free the slaves,” for example) is the easiest and most effective way to make those falsehoods common knowledge.  That’s why the leftist propagandists and racial grievance hustlers in academia, the media, and the government do it. …

… if the people of a state surmise that the federal government is pursuing policy which comprises the liberty and prosperity of its citizens, does that state have to conform to what is perceived by the people of the state as unconstitutional abuse of power, or can it express its autonomy and liberty without the prospect of being attacked by the federal government for having done so?

That is the central question that was at the heart of the Civil War.  And we are fools to not consider that it’s the likeliest question that will be at the heart of the next one, or to understand that it’s certainly the question at the heart of the semi-cold war between right and left in America today.

LA Times: It’s necessary to mock the deaths of the unvaccinated. Jazz Shaw — “predictable, ghoulish end-zone dancing on social media that we regularly hear from supporters of mandates and immunity passports. While most people in the media are compassionate enough (or at least politically sensible enough) to condemn such callous behavior, the Los Angeles times managed to find someone to take the opposite position.” — “What we’re witnessing here is only the latest, though perhaps an over-the-top example of a phenomenon we’ve been warning about and tracking from the start of the pandemic. ”

The liberal justices’ lies reveal the left’s addiction to virus fears. Jonathan S. Tobin — “It’s fair to ask how three of the people who are supposedly among the smartest in the land could be so poorly informed. But it also speaks volumes about the way the mainstream media has helped spread COVID dishonesty intended to fuel the kind of fear of the disease that lies behind these fibs.” … “The high court hearing wasn’t just fodder for a fact check that earned liberal judges scorn. It should be a wake-up call for the rest of us to understand that the real problem here isn’t a disease. It’s the way those who ought to know better have gone along with fearmongering intended to quash opposition to the most heavy-handed COVID regulations regardless of the truth.”

Now They Tell Us! John Hinderaker — “The CDC and other government agencies grossly overhyped the covid epidemic. Many suspect that this was done intentionally, in order to drive President Trump from office. The best argument against this hypothesis is that foreign government agencies were nearly as panic-stricken as our own.”

More Simple, Honest Questions About COVID-19. Jeff M. Lewis — “Would the reader agree that it has become particularly tiresome hearing from all the “experts” who continue to be wrong and continue to move the goalposts? For me, it is especially infuriating that the responses to the simple, honest questions are usually ad hominem attacks instead of rational, reasoned, respectful, and honest discussions about the issues at hand.”

It turns out that, if you doubted COVID’s deadliness, you were correct. Andrea Widburg — “It’s been very weird for those of us who have maintained some degree of objectivity about the whole COVID uproar to see leftists maintain their high degree of terror about COVID despite their being vaccinated and boosted. ”

It’s Time To Drop The Hysteria And Learn To Live With COVID. Bruce Pardy via The Epoch Times — “For the past 23 months, the real pandemic has not been COVID but anxiety.” … “COVID is a righteous platform from which to rage against non-conformists.” … “As a health crisis, COVID is over. The hysteria, however, will be more stubborn.”

Omissions, evasions, hysteria, psychosis, hot winds.

Value systems need consistency and they need some effort to rise above stupidity and ignorance.VDH describes. Zinn and the 1619 offspring get a review. The J6 narrative and its major players are questioned. Molne must be on target of the flak is any measure. Hinderaker cites physics versus the energy irrationality.

What Makes Riots, Conspiracies, Cabals, and Insurrections ‘Good’ or ‘Bad’? Victor Davis Hanson — “Shut up and keep quiet; that is all ye need to know.” … “good is a Congress going to unprecedented lengths to destroy an effective president with a successful record. Bad is a Congress impotently attempting to block a failed president with a catastrophic record. ”

The Disgraceful Howard Zinn. Michael Burlingame — “Howard Zinn’s polemical history of the United States is distorted, manipulative, and dishonest.” … “Mary Grabar’s Debunking Howard Zinn: Exposing the Fake History That Turned a Generation against America performs a valuable service by examining Zinn’s polemical volume and revealing “just how distorted, manipulative, and plain dishonest” it truly is.”

Exporting Our Worst Product: Wokeness. A.J. Rice — “Something America ought to export to other — more normal — societies? Because it’s been such a success in America? Like Crystal Pepsi and the Ford Edsel?”

Fact checker misstates facts at The Washington Post promoting a January 6 narrative. DC Observer — “If The Washington Post fact checker articles continue to omit pertinent information for its readers, then the mainstream media will continue to be distrusted and viewed as the propaganda wing of the Democrat party.”

Disgraced FBI No. 2 Andrew McCabe Calls For Feds To Treat ‘Mainstream’ Conservatives Like Domestic Terrorists. Evita Duffy — “Sadly, McCabe’s dishonest version of January 6 is happily accepted by the academic elites who invited him Thursday night. His frighteningly despotic views and policy prescriptions will likely be accepted and implemented by his young listeners.”

More coincidences in Georgia: Some counties destroyed videos that could showcase ballot-harvesting. Monica Showalter — “Good luck investigating ballot-harvesting in Georgia’s 2020 election.”

What actually happened on January 6, 2021? John F. Di Leo — “For a year now, there has been a constant drumbeat in the press about January 6, 2020.  It went into overdrive this past week.” … “There are important questions…but for a solid year, the courts dismissed challenges on technicalities, and the press has condescendingly dismissed allegations as “disproven” when in fact the charges have never been given a chance to be proven or disproven.”

Leftist Supreme Court Justices Abandoned The Law And Made Up Facts. Ted Noel, M.D. — “In Supreme Court arguments on the OSHA COVID Vaccination Mandate case, the “Wise Latina” revealed at least Sixth Degree Stupidity for all to see.” … “All this hysteria derives from the near-complete suppression of scientific facts from the public square.”

The Supreme Court and Congress Humiliate Themselves. Clarice Feldman — “Two important cases came before the Supreme Court this week and, in Congress, the Nancy Pelosi Reichstag Fire Revisited was being played out. In both cases, these bodies deserved our disrespect for their violation of established norms and display of ignorance.”

Here’s the Fact Check on Mike Pompeo That Was Too Much Even for Some Liberal Media Members. Matt Vespa — “There is nothing but bad news when it comes to Joe Biden and the Democrats, so some in the media decided to fact check Mike Pompeo…for losing weight?” … “Frankly, the overarching theme here is that it’s really none of your business, Kansas City Star. Who cares? Mr. Pompeo is healthier. Does that give you agita? It would have been best just to leave this space blank”

Claims of ‘Mass Formation Psychosis’ Set the Left’s Hair on Fire. Bonchie — “the fact that millions of Americans have been driven into some level of mental instability regarding COVID-19 has been apparent.” … “The AP couldn’t be missing the point harder if they tried. The idea behind mass formation psychosis is not that people are literally hypnotized, i.e., as you’d see in the movies where someone crows like a rooster and stops smoking. Rather, it’s a way to express the collective irrationality being shown by millions of people who will literally do anything to try to “stop the spread,” no matter how ineffective the measures being promoted are.”

Mass Formation Psychosis. The Madness of Crowds. And The End Of Progressive America. William A. Jacobson — “Hope in the midst of despair. But first, things will fall apart, so get ready.” … “I am familiar with, and often quote, Memoirs of Extraordinary Popular Delusions and the Madness of Crowds, by Charles Mackay (1841, revision 1852)(emphasis added):” … “So there you have it. Mass Formation Psychosis. The Madness of Crowds. And The End Of The Progressive March Through Institutions. All connected somehow. Hope in the midst of despair.”

Why Doesn’t Google Want You to Know About ‘Mass Formation Psychosis’? Ethan Reese — “if someone were searching for “mass formation psychosis,” certainly Malone’s article would appear at the top, right? … It appears Bing and Yahoo may think so. But Google, perhaps not so much.”

How Bad Is the Data on COVID? New Numbers From New York Provide Insight. Stacy Lennox — “To competently manage any situation, accurate information is a requirement. … Unfortunately, it is becoming more apparent that the corporate media and public health officials have subjected us to inaccurate data and word games for the last two years.” … “For almost two years, political leaders have governed many Americans’ lives using imprecise, misleading, and sometimes deceptive data. It is impossible to believe that, in the nation that gave birth to Big Tech, our healthcare agencies could not collect accurate data with appropriate privacy controls.”

Early Outpatient COVID Treatment – Why is There Still no Plan? Brian C. Joondeph, M.D. — “For most infections, early treatment is imperative to prevent late complications.” … “COVID has been with us for almost two years and yet there are still not officially and medical establishment endorsed outpatient treatment protocols to keep infected individuals out of hospitals” … “What we are doing is the same thing over and over again, expecting different results, when reality says otherwise. What’s that the definition of?”

“The Drug Does Not Appear to Qualify for Release” – EXCLUSIVE: Post Office Holds Woman’s Foreign Shipment of Ivermectin at the Request of the FDA. Jim Hoft — “Despite all the stories, testimonies, and studies showing Ivermectin as effective early treatment of COVID-19, the Food and Drug Administration has refused to authorize the drugs — that have been saving lives for decades– for Covid treatment”

When The Wind Doesn’t Blow. John Hinderaker — “The political push to transform our electrical grid into reliance on “renewable” wind and solar energy keeps running into the laws of physics. The laws of physics are going to win, but the economic carnage in the meantime will be terrible.” … “On energy, we are in a race against time. We need to inform voters before the lavishly-funded “green” energy lobby destroys our electrical grid and our economy, at great profit to them but at ruinous loss to the rest of us.”

The J6 bell rings sour

this post-truth age – plenty of social media speculation — overhyped — disgusting and dishonest — misleading — on a precipice?

Final Thoughts On January 6. John Hinderaker — “January 6” is the most overhyped news story of our time  … The Democrats’ calling the riot an “insurrection” is another bad joke. … Law enforcement in many American cities has gotten ridiculously lax … I have no idea who has been arrested and jailed, and what those particular individuals did. … Why are the Democrats trying to make “January 6” into the equivalent of Pearl Harbor or the September 11 terrorist attacks? On its face this is idiotic, yet there is a rational purpose at work. I think the Democrats have two motives. … Will this strategy work? I don’t think so. The consensus behind election integrity is strong, and the fact that the Democrats’ “reforms” are intended to facilitate voter fraud is obvious. Let’s fight this issue at the ballot box in 2022.

Joe Biden’s most disgusting, dishonest speech. Monica Showalter — If you like dishonesty, and dollop after dollop of general disgustingness, Joe Biden had the speech for you. … This is angry Joe Biden in all his ugliness, a bitter, small, failed president, who retains a rat’s ambition to rise from his mouse-itude. President Trump, in his reply to the dotard, called it right in that he said Joe Biden’s speech was a distraction from his own failed presidency. Biden’s lies, plagiarisms, gaslights, and undisguised interest in maintaining his own personal power are operative here. It’s all Joe amounts to. It’s disgusting as hell.

Democrats’ ‘Misleading’ Jan. 6 Narrative ‘More Detrimental to Our Republic than the Day Itself’. Joshua Klein — Biggs, who serves as chairman of the House Freedom Caucus, concluded by stating there is “no place for political violence in our society” nor for the “lies, cover ups, and witch hunts” of the Democrats.

Jan. 6: Seven Democrat Lies. David Catron — The most transparent falsehoods peddled by the Democrats and media Thursday…. the mendacity that permeated the speeches of the politicians and the coverage of the media was truly startling even by Beltway standards. It is impossible to debunk every lie that was told yesterday in a single article, but here are the most egregious falsehoods

Ted Cruz goes on Tucker to try to walk back his words about January 6. Andrea Widburg — Ted Cruz appeared on Tucker’s show to try to walk back what he said. Tucker was brutal with him. This was a good thing because it showed that conservatives have more integrity than Democrats when it comes to calling their own side out. It also gave Cruz the chance to repent and try to fight his way back into conservatives’ good graces.

Destroying a Democracy to Save it: Democrats Call for the Disqualification of Dozens of Republican Members. Jonathan Turley — It is like burning books in the name of literacy. Yet, on this anniversary of the January 6th riot, members of Congress and Democratic groups want to block voters from reelecting their preferred representatives.

J6 Hysteria Is How Media And Other Democrats Are Avoiding Accountability For Their Rigging Of The 2020 Election. Mollie Hemingway — As part of their political operation, they have used a propaganda technique of redefining efforts to secure the integrity of elections as attacks on democracy. … The propaganda press have also downplayed Zuckerberg’s staggering $419 million expenditure … The media and other Democrats are cartoonishly overhyping the J6 riot to avoid being held accountable for the many ways in which they destroyed election integrity in the months and years leading up to November 2020. Wise people are not fooled by their distraction attempt

Democrat J6 Vigil Organized By Left-Wing Activist Behind Violent Disruptions Of Trump Inauguration, Assault Of GOP Senator’s Family. Jordan Boyd — According to her biography, which is listed first on the Movement Catalyst website, Butler has a lengthy history of organizing radical protests to spark change and affirm “social justice, economic justice, climate justice, fossil fuel resistance, and environmental justice.”

The Four Horsemen of the Left’s Artificial Apocalypse. J.B. Shurk — Let me state firmly my belief that we are on the precipice of a dramatic shift in human relations. …  Technology has opened up the door for the flourishing of human liberty.  Old Guard political and economic actors stand to lose everything.

The Smithsonian goes all-in for January 6 propaganda. A.J. Rice — Reality used to be the Smithsonian’s prime directive. Now? They’re now building a new collection, but it’s not devoted to science, history, industry, or anything so unifying and uplifting. The Smithsonian’s new collection is nakedly political and linked to lies. And it’s not the first time.

What The Climate Scare And Pandemic Fearmongering Have In Common. I & I Editorial Board — The chilling fact there is much to be afraid of – not of a falling sky or a virus that we hope is on the wane, but of those eager to stir up dread and anxiety so they exercise the raw power they covet.

Five COVID Books You Must Read. James Jeffery — For the last two years, we have witnessed a war on truth. … For this reason, I want to suggest several books that I believe stretch our minds, challenge our presuppositions, and lead us to a perspective on COVID-19 that is concordant with reality.

Mike Pompeo tells The Post how he lost 90 pounds in six months. Salena Zito — The weight started piling on when he was first elected to Congress as a representative for Kansas in 2010, Pompeo said. … To finally get healthy, Pompeo said, he had to be in the right frame of mind. … His weight loss came with plenty of social media speculation — and Pompeo said none of the comments were particularly complimentary. … Pompeo said he hopes his journey will inspire others struggling with obesity to lose weight. “It is hard, and it’s not permanent. There’s no guarantees that I’ll still be at whatever I weigh now, but if you realize that good things can happen if you keep at it, you can do it as well.”

a dangerous revolutionary cycle

Silicon Kabuki. radio chatter.  The state has evidence.Who needs data? Is it really a conspiracy?

Who Are the Real Insurrectionists? Victor Davis Hanson — “Stone-cold sober elites are systematically waging a far more dangerous and insidious revolution in the shadows than anything threatened by the American Right.”

We are in a dangerous revolutionary cycle. But the threat is not so much from loud, buffoonish one-day rioters on January 6. Such clownish characters did not for 120 days loot, burn, attack courthouses and police precincts, cause over 30 deaths, injure 2,000 policemen, and destroy at least $2 billion in property—all under the banner of revolutionary justice.

the authorities have made more than 700 arrests — with little sign of slowing down. Ann Althouse — “Yes, 700+ people have been arrested for the things we saw happening before our eyes on January 6th, but that didn’t take a sophisticated investigation to discover. A big outdoor protest turned into an indoor event. They broke in where they weren’t allowed. That was as bad as it was, but it ended that day. What else was there? Apparently there’s “little indication” of anything else, but who knows “how high the investigation might reach”?”

Seattle police improperly faked Proud Boys radio talk during 2020 protests, watchdog group finds. Kipp Robertson, Ted Land — “Officers may have used fake radio chatter in an attempt to see if their radio transmissions were compromised, a lieutenant said.”

Kazakhstan: Hey, Liz! Here’s what a real Jan. 6 insurrection looks like. Monica Showalter — “Sound anything like what happened on Jan. 6? The land of Borat has just thrown a spanner into the works for that best-laid Democrat plan.”

Over in Kazakhstan, we got a toppled government. We got a presidential palace on fire. We got a burning parliament. Bodies stacked in the morgues. Cop cars on fire. Blood in the street, dead people, beheadings, concussion grenades, a mayor’s office on fire, armed protestors who shoot back, dead cops, a beheading, armored personnel carriers, tanks, military trucks, a dictator’s remaining minions fighting like cornered rats, and thousands of Russian troops being airlifted in,

There Was No Insurrection But There Was A Coup. Vince Coyner — “The debate is over. After a year spent investigating claims of election fraud, the media has determined that any fraud in the 2020 election was too insignificant to have changed the outcome and Joe Biden legitimately won. Now we can get back to our normal lives, or whatever passes for normal now…except that’s fiction.” … “Mark Anthony could only eulogize Caesar after the Ides of March, but Donald Trump is still very much with us. We still have an opportunity to reverse this treachery and avert the disaster that naturally follows when the Rule of Man subverts the Rule of Law. But will we seize it before it’s too late?”

New York Times Offers Stunning Report on Left-Wing Racial Fundraising. A.J. Kaufman — “With nearly 3,000 words of interviews and assorted content, he explores how much money — nearly $25 billion it turns out — was donated by progressive elites to divisive racial endeavors after the May 2020 killing of George Floyd.” … “This institutional caving-in to bogus theories of racial inequity and victimhood is mind-blowing and also poses a great danger to Democrats because these causes are so far left of where even their voters are, much less where everyday Americans are.”

Capitalists: Paying For The Rope To Hang Them. Steven Hayward — “Liberal political analyst Thomas Byrne Edsall, who along with David Shor, Ruy Teixeira, and a handful of other liberals of relative sobriety, notes today in the New York Times the huge increase in contributions to “racial equity” causes since George Floyd’s death. Using data assembled by an organization called Candid, the numbers are staggering” … “in a little more than a year, capitalist philanthropy to radical racial causes was three times larger than the total philanthropy of the previous decade. (Don’t hold your breath for a close accounting of how the money is spent.)”

“Fake It Till You Make It”: The Holmes Conviction is an Indictment of Business and Media Practices. Jonathan Turley — “The prosecution put a spotlight on the fraudulent practices rampant in Silicon Valley where executives often invoke the rule that, to be successful, you have to “fake it till you make it.” It is often more than a simple adage to be bold and confident.” … “Holmes would have been a modest fraudulent enterprise without the help of the media.”

Kevin Roche: Mask Delusion. Scott Johnson — “The Star Tribune “has actually been pretty good about publishing” his columns, he writes, but he “apparently went a heresy too far this week.” They declined this column.”

The state has evidence in its possession showing that masks have no impact, either in general or in schools, but refuses to release that information and is stonewalling my Data Practices Act requests, which is itself evidence that they know the lack of effect. It is time for everyone to ask themselves what evidence really supports masking as an effective tool against spread and why we continue to encourage, much less force, futile and potentially damaging measures.

Boom! Malone Goes THERE, THERE, And THERE. Mark Wauck — “This is not crazy conspiracy talk–it’s their own web site, and you can find it on my Gettert account. I posted it yesterday. Make your own assessment.””

Tyranny in the Name of Climate Change. Anthony Watts — “raising serious and worrisome questions about the role of academia in our national political debate on climate change.” … “disturbing because it completely ignores the will of the people to self-govern, favoring a totalitarian approach” … “Why is this consistently not reported?” … “According to the disaster database, there isn’t any “climate crisis” at all.”… “Sadly, and frighteningly, as illustrated by Mittiga in the Cambridge University Press, the green socialist left is increasingly embracing tyranny in the form of authoritarian power to act on their viewpoint on climate change. But clearly, real-world data don’t support their viewpoint let alone their call to action.”

J6, Pandemic, Green Energy – hysteria and psychosis 0n parade

See the strings on the marionettes? Who cares (anymore)” Think witchcraft went out of the mainstream? Really? And just where is the green dividend?

The Big Lie & The Elastic Truth: How To Invent A Coup. Frank Miele via RealClearPolitics.com — “I’ve taken a guilty pleasure recently in watching the faux intellectuals on MSNBC and CNN pass judgment on not just Donald Trump, but also on everyone who shares his disdain for authoritarian pronouncements on COVID-19, election integrity, climate change and a host of other issues.” … “after studying Rachel Maddow, Joy Reid, Jake Tapper and the late, lamented Chris Cuomo, liberalism today is characterized by a low regard for the intelligence of average Americans and a very high regard for the elastic nature of language.”

The choice of two diametrically opposed futures has not been so clear since the Civil War, and Democrats — just as they did in that great conflict — seem intent once again on proving the truth of Lincoln’s dictum that “A house divided against itself cannot stand.”

January 6th anniversary: the invented coup lives on… neo — “The Democrats and the MSM are planning a big big celebration of their finest propaganda hour. — But how many people other than the leftist core care anymore?”

Media Begins Their Week Long J6 Attack on Democracy Narrative Engineering Effort. Sundance — “Despite the predictability and transparency of the propaganda effort, the media and democrats are going all-in. … We can likely expect an entire week of building apoplexy culminating in some form of DC release.” — “Once you see the strings on the marionettes, it’s impossible to return to that moment when you did not see them.”

Some Covid Links. Don Boudreaux — “Jay Bhattacharya and Martin Kulldorff – who, along with Sunetra Gupta, wrote the great Great Barrington Declaration – decry Francis Collins’s and Anthony Fauci’s attack on traditional public health. — “Alarmed by unilateral COVID-19 restrictions, states are imposing new limits on executive authority” – so reports Reason‘s Eric Boehm. — Boston Globe columnist Jeff Jacoby warns against taking ‘expert’ predictions too seriously. — Tim Stanley argues that “[m]asks in schools are as pointless as they are cruel.” — more”

White Coats for Black Queer Abolitionist Socialism. John D. Sailer — “A national organization of medical students successfully pressures their schools to embrace radical identity politics.” … “These medical schools are being forthright about their new priorities. White Coats for Black Lives has already had much success in its mission to transform medical education. The next stop will be the medical field itself.”

Myopic politicians are wilfully blind to the truth about green energy. Paul Homewood — “Britain it has been made much worse by energy policies which for a decade and a half have doggedly pursued the objective of cutting carbon emissions without any regard to the costs.” … “How bizarre that politicians who on one day will lecturing us on poverty, and energy poverty in particular, and on the next day will be proposing to drive up household bills to reach carbon reduction targets … As most people will correctly work out for themselves when they receive their inflated energy bills this spring, the biggest danger they face is not being fried or drowned in a slightly warmer world – it is succumbing to hypothermia because they cannot afford to heat their homes.”

Think of the money to be made catering to the government fantasies

Dr. Robert Malone is in the news and racism goes back to the antebellum. Climate change adds to suspicions about the improper influence of the government money flood. Then there’s what  your primary care physician is up against.

Will The New Year Bring Justice? Mark Wauck — “The Ethical Skeptic has a new post that’s dynamite—it deals with the very real issue, going forward, of crimes against humanity … the concept of a controlled experiment on human beings is one that is explicitly covered—in great detail—by the The Nuremberg Code of 1947 on Permissible Medical Experiments.”

Did banned mRNA vax inventor Robert W. Malone M.D. just break the Google algorithm? Monica Showalter — “Which ought to be kind of embarrassing to Twitter and the rest of the tech barons trying to stomp him out from any Internet media presence based on his inconvenient ideas about the risks of the mRNA vaccines.” … “Malone’s expansive interview with Rogan is chock full of information about the origins of COVID, the manipulations and maneuvers of public health decisions, the story of how India broke the COVID death cycle, and whole lot of other things that discredit entirely the COVID industrial complex.”

Biden Wants To ‘Woke’ Up Your Doctor. Wesley Smith,  op-ed via The Epoch Times, — “The Biden Administration wants to pay doctors to create office “anti-racism plans” that could soon bring full blown critical race theory into your examining room..” … “Think of the money to be made by leftist anti-racist trainers and organizers, which is part of the point.”

Racial medical care is careless and racist. Post Editorial Board — “Mayor de Blasio’s obsession with race already hurt our schools and our police department, so why not go the extra mile and sacrifice our lives?”

Race Discrimination In Covid Treatment: It Isn’t Only New York. John Hinderaker — “A friend who is a doctor received this communication from a local hospital network, indicating that in Minnesota, being “BIPOC” scores extra points in getting access to the most effective anti-covid treatment” … “Governmental authorities have grossly misrepresented statistical data to try to show that covid has disproportionately impacted blacks and other minorities, and thus to justify discrimination in violation of the law.”

Fear porn, testing hysteria, and tyranny. Patricia McCarthy — “According to the mainstream media, print and digital, COVID is surging, omicron is deadly, and everyone with a scratchy throat runs to a testing center to see if he is “infected.”  It’s madness on a grand scale.  Most of them are not infected, but these thousands of hypochondriacs are waiting hours in line for a test that, even if negative, may be positive the next day.” … “It is a national tragedy that so many Americans have fallen victim to what increasingly seems to be a grand hoax.” … “Americans need to wake up, fight back, reclaim the independence they are entitled to, the freedoms our Founders fought and died for; the time is now.”

Fight the American Stasi With Mockery. Mark Judge — “And whatever you do, don’t help inflame the Zersetzung.” … “I have long argued what afflicts present-day America is not fascism, or Mao-style communism, but the totalitarianism of the former spy-state known as the German Democratic Republic.”

Colorado’s Marshall Fire: Has Funding Needs Corrupted Climate Science? Jim Steele — “I could only believe she had been corrupted by the need to attract large amounts of funding, and these days that comes to those who blame the climate crisis. And here’s why I now hold that opinion so strongly.”

Plato’s Cave is so comfortable, it seems

When all you see is the master’s shadow show – then there are the prosecutor politicians, the Left’s coup efforts, the corruption of the FBI, criminal insanity – and that doesn’t get into climate change and pandemic panics.

Plato’s Cave 2.0. Thomas Buckley — “his “Allegory of the Cave” would be rather different, as it would have to take into account the idea that not only would people choose to live in the cave, but they would go so far as to build one themselves. — Plato imagined a cave in which people are chained in place and only able to see shadows projected on a wall by their captors.  As they could observe nothing else, the shadows essentially become their reality.”

When Prosecutors Become Politicians. Armstrong Williams — “Prosecutors are effectively taking the law into their own hands in cases such as these, superseding the whims of the legislature that wrote the laws to protect citizens, preventing the courts from delving into the evidence, discovering facts and doing justice, denying the public the right to know the specific types of crime that occur in their city, as well as the names and faces of those who commit those crimes, and denying the public the right to be aware of the specific types of crime that occur in their city and places and activities to avoid. This isn’t justice; it is politics infiltrating what is meant to be an apolitical part of our system of government.”

The FBI’s Criminal Lead Informant in Whitmer ‘Kidnapping’ Caper. Julie Kelly — “The Federal Bureau of Investigation is a morally bankrupt, politically  weaponized agency doing the dirty work of the Democratic Party.” … “It’s only a matter of time before we learn how many Stephen Robesons and Richard Trasks were involved in the events of January 6.”

The Truth You Never Learned about Watergate. John Dale Dunn — “The Nixon Conspiracy:  Watergate and the Plot to Remove the President by Geoff Shepard.” … “I found stunning documentary evidence — memoranda that document the professional and judicial misconduct of the key players, sometimes in their own hand.  Examples abound:” … “When you read this book, you don’t have to be reminded that Watergate looks like dress rehearsal or an opening act for the events of 2015 to 2021.”

Before Kyle Rittenhouse, there was Steven Baca. Michelle Malkin — “Steven’s case matters because the woke, George Soros-funded district attorney leading the witch-hunt prosecution against Steven may soon be New Mexico’s next attorney general if good people do nothing.” … “Steven is banned from Facebook and GoFundMe, but 1,275 donors have joined me in raising $60,000 for his case. You can find the crowdfunding campaign here: https://fundly.com/stand-with-steven-baca. It’s us or the anarchotyrannists. Choose.”

“Pure Insanity”: San Francisco Residents Reflect On Surge In Crime. Jamie Joseph via The Epoch Times, — “While brazen thefts at small businesses and retail stores in San Francisco have increased, drawing national headlines since the beginning of this year, some business owners told The Epoch Times they’ve stopped reporting the crimes because when they call the police, “they can’t do anything.”

The New Climate of Panic Among the Panic-Mongers. Christopher Monckton of Brenchley — “Correcting the error removes Their near certainty of large and dangerous anthropogenic warming. It destroys Their pretext to shut down the West.”

The COVID Narrative Is Insane & Illogical… And Maybe That’s No Accident. Kit Knightly via Off-Guardian.org, — “That is long-established at this point, we don’t really need to go into how or why here. Read our back catalogue.” … “Maybe forcing people to believe your lies, even after you admit you’re lying, is the purest form of power…”

Who Supports Our Service Members? Mark Wauck — “why is no one making an issue of the Covid Regime’s ruthless purge of the military?”

Cruise Ships Exposed COVID Fearmongering Deception In 2020 And Expose Vaccine Efficacy Deception Now.  Adam Dick via The Ron Paul Institute — “Back in March of 2020, when the coronavirus fearmongering from politicians and big money media was taking off, an outbreak of coronavirus and several deaths on the Diamond Princess cruise ship was among the examples used to stir up dread of coronavirus among the American populace. — However, people who looked critically at the Diamond Princess situation realized that it suggested coronavirus did not pose an especially great threat.”

We must make public-health authorities accountable for their COVID lies. Glenn H. Reynolds — “Ever since cases first appeared in Wuhan, the reaction has been marked by mistakes, reversals, outright lying and even political manipulation.” … “It’s time for a rigorous investigation — perhaps a Truth and Reconciliation Commission with subpoena power — to get to the bottom of how our public-health authorities have mismanaged this pandemic. There’s certainly no chance that the existing establishment will do so.”

The Video Message That Resulted in Dr. Robert Malone Banned from Twitter, An Alarming Warning About Vaccinating Children. Sundance — “Dr. Malone has always presented himself as an intelligent and thoughtful man of even & stable disposition.”

We’re never going to learn about how safe this vaccine is unless we start giving it.” “So, let’s look at the evidence.” Robert W Malone MD, MS

COVID treatment protocols and the death of ‘trust your doctor’. Jeffrey I. Barke — “It is well past time for Americans to wake up and realize that the institutions that we used to trust without question and the professionals that we held in the highest esteem are not what they used to be.  We once again need to take responsibility to do our own research for our personal well-being.  And most of all, we need to put our love of liberty, as Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. has so aptly put it, ahead of our fear of a germ.”

Arguing about common sense

What is the role of a proper religion? One clue is in the anti-work movement. Rod Sterling is being called. Myth making gets studied and a Flynn example dissected. The Kulak Class right here in Washington D.C. Trends in awful science ‘journalism.’

The Christian Paradox. Tim Jones — “the loss of Christian spirituality as a result of it being divorced from and given a back seat to the materialism of the modern era has been the disregard of the values that were first exemplified by the life and death of Christ: sacrifice, charity, and obligation. This has led directly to the plague of our time: self-love, greed, and hedonism. It’s time to get back to basics to confront current problems.”

On holiday forever: Anti-work ethic spreads. Joanne Jacobs — “Working less or working differently can make a lot of sense — if you can pay the bills and feed the kids. Not working at all? I did a series on welfare reform 20-odd years ago: Living on welfare is miserable. You’re poor and you’re powerless.” … “The idea that we should be able to live without working is one of the “luxury beliefs” that Rob Henderson and Robert Pondiscio have written about. These are “ideas and opinions that confer status on the rich at very little cost, while taking a toll on the lower class.”

Entering The American Twilight Zone.Patricia Henry — “We didn’t know it then, but on Election Night, November 8, 2020, America entered a Twilight Zone every bit as eerie and unanticipated as anything dreamed up by Rod Serling decades earlier.”

Myth-Making in the Modern Age: A Primer. Roger Kimball — “The myth that January 6 was an insurrection that aimed to “overthrow the government” must not be allowed to stand. The time to counter the Big Lie is now.”

Misinterpreting a federal judge’s ruling denying Michael Flynn’s request for a temporary restraining order on Jan. 6 committee. David Zukerman — “Prior to scanning media treatment of the Scriven ruling, I had read Judge Mary S. Scriven’s opinion on Gen. Flynn’s request for a temporary restraining order (TRO).  The very opening sentence of the Law and Crime take on the Order from Judge Scriven, was so at variance with the reality of her ruling, that I realized I needn’t go further to find that the media has yet to treat Gen. Flynn fairly.”

America’s Kulak Class: Horrific Prison Conditions for January 6 Republicans “Treated as Subhuman” Predicted by Abe Lincoln in 1860. Erik — “It would be too much of a stretch to compare Andersonville (to use another Civil War-era image) to “the DC Gulag”, but still, when you hear how rights are being violated by Democrats or leftists, check out if the portrait of one of the wardens isn’t at least partly reminiscent of the CSA’s Commandant Henry Wirz… ”

13 Happenings In 2021 That I Never Would Have Believed 5 Years Ago. Elaanor Bartow — “The world seemed to get closer to spinning out of its orbit in 2021. If you’d told me five years ago that men would be treated as women, criminals would not be prosecuted, and censorship would be widespread, I wouldn’t have believed you.”

4 Awful Science Journalism Trends That Should Die In 2022. Cameron English — “Science journalism is plagued by several critical problems that jeopardize its credibility. If we want the public to be more science-minded, we have to correct these issues sooner rather than later.” … “Since reporters are human and all humans are flawed, sloppy science coverage is inevitable to a certain extent. But the advocacy-as-journalism trend needs to be reversed before science media loses what remains of its dwindling credibility with the general public.” … “Conclusions in search of evidence – Nuance? What’s nuance? – Cheerleaders for censorship – Fair-weather science advocacy”

Ten Considerations Before You Create Another Chart About COVID-19. Amanda Makulec — “To sum it up — #vizresponsibly; which may mean not publishing your visualizations in the public domain at all” … “the stakes are high around how we communicate about this epidemic to the wider public. Visualizations are powerful for communicating information, but can also mislead, misinform, and — in the worst cases — incite panic.”

1. Do more to understand the numbers than just downloading and diving right into a dataset.

4. Be cautious when making generalized predictions or comparisons based on regionally specific data.

5. Visualizations should inform and be honest about what isn’t represented.

9. Consider the human side of what you create.

10. Consider how visualizations can impact (and encourage) social responsibility as we see COVID-19 in our respective communities.

THE AMERICAN MEDICAL ASSOCIATION HAS GONE FULL WOKE. Instapundit — “And the result is truly astonishing. Here is how it recommends that doctors speak:” … “While you’re at it, check this one out too:  Organizational Strategic Plan to Embed Racial Justice and Advance Health Equity. — These folks have seriously lost their minds.”

Covid Common Sense [With Comment. Paul] John Hinderaker — “One of the strangest aspects of governments’ responses to covid has been the lack of emphasis on treatment.”

A birth is celebrated but the sins of man persist

KD0TA, sk. Advent. An end and a beginning. Perhaps an awareness is growing and the righteous will stand? And nothing new on this year’s flue shot but it does provide perspective.

Listen While You Read. Mark Wauck — “My Dutch friend sent me an article from the Conejo Guardian, in Ventura County, CA—largely nurses talking about the hospital situation there. That article linked to a previous article on the same topic. Please read, follow the link, read some more, peruse the comments, share … I’ve left out large sections of anecdotes.”

Most shocking, perhaps, is how doctors and administrators refuse to report the rising number of unexplained medical problems in otherwise healthy people …

by spring 2021, “an interesting thing” happened, he says. In the wake of widespread vaccinations, the number of non-COVID patients “really started picking up.”

“Pneumonia cases, stroke cases,” he says. “We’ve had more strokes than normal. Women in particular with venous sinus embolisms. We’re seeing a lot of autoimmune issues: rashes on the body, the body attacking the nervous system, producing symptoms like a weakening of the muscles.” …

Like all the nurses interviewed by the Guardian, he says he is “sick and tired of the coercion.”

A Myth Is Born: How CDC, FDA, & Media Wove A Web Of Ivermectin Lies That Outlives The Truth. Via RESCUE with Michael Capuzzo Substack, — “New Mexico officials admit they were wrong: Two people died from covid. NOT from ivermectin. Yet the CDC generated the nation’s highest health alert and a thousand fake headlines on false cases.”

Flu vaccine may not protect against main flu strain, study says. HealthDay News — “the vaccine is still likely to protect against severe illness and death, according to the U.S. researchers.” … “The flu kills anywhere between 12,000 and 52,000 people a year, depending on the flu season, and puts as many as 700,000 people into the hospital, according to the CDC.”

Choosing death

FBI Chicanery? Do tell. – Flynn describes outrage. – Manchin worries. – NATO has a flat tire. — Hypotheticals for the hypocrites. – picking cherries WWII style. — DeSantis vs CRT. – Deep state v evidence.

Was the FBI’s Whitmer Chicanery a Warm-up for January 6? Julie Kelly — “By removing three dirty cops from the witness list, the Justice Department hopes to prevent any cross-examination during the trial and, one supposes, any link to January 6.”

A paragraph that puts to shame the January 6 Select Committee of the House of Representatives. David Zukerman — “I believe the words in this paragraph demand the immediate attention of the  United States Congress, the media, and, of course the readers” … “By implication, paragraph 3 of the complaint brought by Lt. General Flynn against Speaker Pelosi and her cohort is tantamount to a call on a free people to rise up, to declare that the Pelosi panel is an affront to the Constitution and the American spirit of liberty, and to demand an  end, forthwith, to the politically- obscene conduct of this committee of the House of Representatives, a committee that offends the Constitution and is an insult to the men who drafted our organic document  of government.”

Manchin shows Biden’s dangerous. Don Surber — “Voters and pundits misread Biden. They thought they were getting a harmless and befuddled old man who would keep the seat warm while the two parties sorted things out Après Trump.”

Biden, Trump, NATO and Ukraine. By F. Charles Parker IV — “The Trump years resulted in a demonstrable U.S. recommitment to NATO, and a strengthened Alliance. NATO capabilities that were not available in 2014 are there. A NATO led by the United States has more options than in 2014. But Putin is testing the viability of that commitment now that Biden is in power.”

Three ‘What Ifs’ We’re Not Supposed to Ask. J.B. Shurk — “Counterfactuals, like “conspiracy theories,” are frowned upon by those who look guilty when they are posed.  Here are three to chew on during the holidays:” … “Some people despise “what if” hypotheticals.  What if those people are the same ones who can’t face the overwhelming evidence for their own hypocrisy?”

Progressive DA Larry Krasner’s office in chaos after 261 attorneys quit during his first term. John Sexton — “Progressive DA Larry Krasner’s response to that spike in violence has been denial.” … “At some point, residents of the city may decide the experiment with progressive prosecutors who cry when they convict someone isn’t working out so well.”

Washington Post Discovers World War II-Era Survey, Cancels the Greatest Generation. Robert Spencer — “It seems that Edward J.K. Gitre, an assistant professor of history at Virginia Tech, stumbled upon 65,000 pages of Army surveys from World War II in the National Archives. Wokescolds have now combed through them and are presenting the very worst of the “harsh views” expressed”

Florida v. Critical Race Theory. Christopher F. Rufo — “Governor Ron DeSantis takes a stand against racialist ideologies in public institutions and businesses.”

Biden Doesn’t Follow The Science, He Cherry Picks It.  Paul Mirengoff — [TDS alert! see if you can spot it] — “Biden’s unwillingness to receive input on vaccinations from those who, under standard procedure, normally provide it could undermine public confidence in the three important decisions cited by Krause and Borio. More generally, it undermines Biden’s claim that his administration “follows the science.” — “Cherry picks the science” would be a more accurate characterization.”

The indefensible approval of Pfizer and Merck drugs compared to the snubbing of ivermectin. Daniel Horowitz — “Can you come up with a non-sinister explanation as to how our government will not only approve, but purchase this untested and dangerous product while declaring war on its broader, safer, cheaper, and more established counterpart?”

Hospitals Choosing Patient Death Over Ivermectin. Joel S. Hirschhorn — “In the past year there have been over 100 court cases trying to get access to IVM for very ill patients, usually for whom hospital doctors say have little chance of surviving.” … “There seems to be inadequate use of the medical evidence given above.”

It isn’t Normal, It’s Psychotic

Geopolitics is worth convern, especially with a woke military. More big corp blaming to evade reality. The Collins crock and big state coup. A how-to for fact checking fact checkers. Paranoia taking over the psyche.

More Geopolitics: Pay Attention To Manchin. Mark Wauck — “Manchin, in addition to the expected references to inflation and “staggering debt”, repeatedly referred to “geopolitical uncertainty” in the world.” …  “Don’t expect to find any sensible discussion of these geopolitical issues in the MSM.” … “What world leader wants to go out on a limb along with a feckless country like we’ve become? – Another concern was noted by none other than Dmitry Medvedev, former president of the Russian Federation.”

Liking a Facebook Post Could Get Service Members Punished Under Pentagon ‘Extremism’ Policy. Spencer Brown — “Pentagon Press Secretary John Kirby announced a new “extremism” policy being rolled out by the Pentagon under President Biden and Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin on Monday that the Department of Defense says provides “increased clarity” on what amounts to “extremist activities” or “prohibited activity” by service members.”

Big Grocery? Seriously? John Hinderaker — “This is almost beyond belief. The grocery store business is notoriously competitive and relatively unprofitable.” … “The broader point is that, according to the Democrats, we have suddenly been beset by a plethora of capitalist conspiracies, worthy of Chavez/Maduro Venezuela:”

The Single Most Important Thing We Can Do To Save the Constitution. Huck Davenport — “Even today, the most elementary constitutional lesson is probably still taught: the legislative branch makes the laws, the executive branch enforces the laws, and the judicial branch adjudicates the laws—but today that’s a lie.” … To paraphrase the great Ronald Reagan, “if fascism ever comes to America, it will come in the form of an administrative state.”

The Collins Crock: WSJ Edition. Scott Johnson — “the excellent reported editorial “How Fauci and Collins Shut Down Covid Debate.” This is the heart of it (links omitted):” … “Groupthink is what we got and groupthink is what we have. Heather Mac Donald also demonstrates how it is done in the Spectator essay republished by the New York Post as the column “Omicron coverage reveals how the establishment, media keep us scared.”

Are athletes more are at risk from COVID or vax side-effects? James Stansbury — “The absence of mainstream news about the alleged spike in athlete deaths inspired some personal research.” … “Lorphic News presented information that directly contradicted both PolitiFact’s and Science 2.0’s negative claims.” … “The sample is long enough (20-year history) and large enough (265,000 players and coaches) to indicate something out of the ordinary and widespread.  And the timing of these sudden cardiac deaths (SCDs) correlates with the increased rates of athlete COVID vaccinations.”

Perhaps the best way to summarize the current state of the secular West’s politicization of medicine was written 21 centuries ago by St. Paul in Romans 1: 22: “Professing to be wise, they became fools.”

COVID paranoia highlights the terrible damage leftism does to women. Andrea Widburg — “One of the least pleasant discoveries of the COVID era is how many politicians who once seemed perfectly happy working within democratic systems …  turned out to have inner totalitarians that leaped at the chance to exercise power.  Another unpleasant discovery has been the many people — invariably on the political left — who have abandoned all semblance of normalcy in their efforts to avoid a virus that, for people under 65, has an average mortality rate of less than 1%.  One funny, sad tweet embodies this retreat from normalcy.”

My suspicion about Dana (Not Scully) is that she started out life as an intelligent, high-strung, slightly neurotic, but sane and normal young woman.  Then she went to college, where she was indoctrinated in the hardcore leftism that seems to take a special toll on young White women.  Some of these women manage to shake off the indoctrination once they leave college.  Others never do.  They go through life angry, emotionally fragile, paranoid, and incredibly self-satisfied, so armored in their narcissism that it is impossible to break through to them.

In other words, COVID didn’t make Dana crazy; leftism did — but COVID’s sure doing a good job of showing just how damaging leftism is for women.  It’s all terribly sad.

The Corporate Media Freakout Over The Omicron Variant Isn’t Normal, It’s Psychotic. John Daniel Davidson — “a disturbingly large number of reporters and commentators in the corporate press, whose coverage and individual responses to Covid have become increasingly divorced from that of the rest of America.” … “Imagine being so impervious to reality — to say nothing of science and data, or even just stories about Covid in the news — that you’d still think, in December 2021, that the Covid vaccines could prevent all your loved ones from getting infected.”

There are jewels in the mud – maybe.

The style of two presidents to compare and contrast, The assault on truth in the TDS efforts, A conspiracy laid bare in the 1/6 melee, Rittenhouse versus ignorance and bigotry in the medical profession.

‘I wish it were a mistake’: Angel mom presents a ‘tale of two presidents’ and brings receipts. Terresa Monroe-Hamilton — “she wrote letters to both former President Trump and to President Biden begging for help with the illicit fentanyl crisis and the difference in reactions from the two leaders is telling.”

The ‘Trump Did Nothing for 187 Minutes on January 6’ Narrative Just Got Shredded. Matt Vespa — “It’s déjà vu all over again. There’s the big bombshell that turns out to be total nonsense—a nothing burger. But even this story comes without the bun.”

Meet Ray Epps, Part 2: Damning New Details Emerge Exposing Massive Web Of Unindicted Operators At The Heart Of January 6. Revolver — “In this report, we will blow open this network of still-unindicted key operators who appear to have been at work either with or around Ray Epps during the initial Capitol grounds breach.” Conspiracy theories? But what about the pictures, the videos, the other evidence put on the table in this lengthy report?

The Kyle Rittenhouse acquittal: a contrasting physician opinion. “I try to present truthful facts about the case. And this is why I will be anonymous. I do not want to be canceled or harassed for espousing an unpopular, politically incorrect position. But the actual facts of the case need to be told.” … ” think this opens up the broader and more important question for all of us physicians: Can we be objective, can we be compassionate toward those who think differently than us, toward those who hold different political beliefs than us,  toward those who vote for a candidate we might despise?”

The Garland Archipelago

Who is the autocratic president, again, overstepping his authority? Jack Hellner — “For four years, as Trump was transferring freedom and power back to the people as fast as possible, the media described Trump as a dictator and an autocrat to intentionally mislead the public. – As Biden rules by executive orders and mandates, the media pretend he is not autocratic.”

Why The Russiagate Scandal Outranks Every Other In History. realclearwire — “Nothing comes close in size, scope or harm to the republic than the years-long effort to cripple Donald Trump’s presidency” … “If truth and justice don’t matter, what does?”

Are Media Now Taking Orders Straight From The White House? I & I Editorial Board — “The media are of course willing to be used. After all, President Joe Biden’s administration is the furthest left in our nation’s history in the scope and content of its policies.”

The idea of the media strategizing with the government to tell the public lies or slant the news is sickening, a voluntary relinquishing of their First Amendment rights. It’s also a betrayal of their obligations to their readers, who expect the truth from journalists, not biased spin.

How Obama Sabotaged the American Military. Daniel Greenfield — “Obama fundamentally transformed the military the way that he did the country.” … “Obama’s parting shot at the military cut the generals down to size by transforming them into community organizers. – His order redefined diversity as the military’s “greatest asset” and reinvented national security as a system for maximizing employment diversity by race, gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, and every identity politics metric, but not the military metrics that truly mattered, readiness, competence, and a willingness to wage war in defense of the homeland.”

There’s an unspoken reason that Blacks are attacking Asian people. Andrea Widburg — “Blacks have for decades competed with Asians for resources in poor neighborhoods. … there’s another reason that few people like to talk about: Asians go from ghetto to suburbs in one generation and, often, from suburbs to chi-chi upper-class communities in just one or two generations.  If you think about the fact that Asians came to America broke, speaking no English, and often facing substantial prejudice, their success puts the lie to Black claims that there’s no way Blacks can achieve success in a country as racist as America.”

An open letter on the U.S. math education. Lubos Motl — “the letter is too little, too late (at least 15 years too late, I think).” … “it looks to me as if 911 people realize that things are going to deteriorate further and really quickly and they want to have a slightly better conscience, the ability to say “we tried to stop it”. Maybe but you tried about 1000 times less than you should have, and you have done much more in your life to accelerate the destruction. So if I were a member of a committee deciding whether you go to Heaven or Hell, this letter would have a very little chance to change the “Hell” verdict. But good luck.”

Feds Withheld Exculpatory Evidence In Charging Accused 1/6 Protesters. Jack Hadfield — “National File can reveal, through an exclusively obtained FBI document relaying an interview with “Person 10” of the Oath Keepers, that the organization had no plan to storm the U.S. Capitol on January 6, and the government knew this as it repeatedly charged Oath Keepers with conspiring to enter the Capitol. Now, a January 6 defense attorney says this could see entire cases dismissed.”

The Demonization of Rosanne Boyland Begins. Julie Kelly — “Boyland may not have many defenders at this point, but the truth eventually will do the talking for her.” – “With the potential release of three hours of security camera footage that recorded exactly what happened inside the lower west terrace tunnel—the location where Boyland died—on January 6, law enforcement officials could face fierce public scrutiny for their behavior that day.”

J6 Convict On TikTok: If I Can Lose 30 Lbs. During My 60 Days In Jail, It Will Be Worth It. Jordan Boyd — “Jenna Ryan was fined $1,500 and sentenced to 60 days in a Texas prison beginning early next year after she pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge of “parading on Capitol grounds” last month. “Sentenced to 60 days prison for 2 mins 8 sec in doorway,” Ryan’s Twitter bio states.”

Ace of Spades — “Gone. Goodbye. As stated, nothing else underscores that tragic in-your-face reality than Americans held captive in the Garland Archipelago. The cherry on top was Congressman being directly and capriciously refused access – twice – to see these people over the course of these interminable months. Finally, Louie Gohmert, Marjorie Taylor-Greene, Matt Gaetz and Paul Gosar were allowed into a compound of the Garland Archipelago.” … “The findings of the report, as well as the rest of this article will disgust and enrage you.”

Reps. Greene and Gohmert Finally Met the J6 Political Prisoners: What They Saw Isn’t Pretty. Kevin Downey Jr. — “The congressional visit to the D.C. jail on November 4 unquestionably proved that there is a twotrack justice system in the United States. This two-tiered system is not based on race, violence, or conviction of crime, but politics.”

Lt. Mike Byrd Raises $122,000 on GoFundMe After Killing Unarmed US Veteran Ashli Babbitt in Cold Blood. Jim Hoft — “There were several police officers surrounding her when she was shot dead without warning. Her killer Lt. Mike Byrd then fled down the hall after he shot her dead without warning.”

Anti-Soros DA in San Diego throws the book at Antifa. Monica Showalter — “In California’s second-biggest city, San Diego, they’ve got a district attorney who thinks it’s her job to prosecute criminals.”

Rise of Violent Crime: Democrats Have a Woke Rogue Prosecutor Problem. John Kass — “The story gripping America is violent crime.” – “America won’t forget who encouraged the defunding of police and the demonization of law enforcement officers, and who weaponized it all to whip up their voters for the last election cycle.”

AAPS News November 2021 – The Heart of American Medicine. “Physicians who sit by silently while blatant anti-science and anti-logic nonsense is proffered to the public day after day, who participate in inhumane, unethical campaigns of bullying and/or human experimentation and seek to silence the dissenters who put patients first, have fallen into a grave state of moral decadence, writes Thomas Harrington in his essay “The Treason of the Healers” (https://tinyurl.com/atspf9mr).”

A Call Out to Physicians. Blaise Edwards — “do you remember the ideals you had when you entered the profession?  You too need to dig deep, look at the literature and history, and ask why we are forcing people to take an essentially useless and investigational jab causing by far the most harm in vaccine history.”

VAERS Data Indicates the Covid Vaccines Have Killed At Least 140,000 Americans. Vasko Kohlmayer — “To get an idea of just how dangerous the current Covid vaccines are, we only need to look at the numbers in the government-authorized VAERS database.”

COVID Fact-Check: “ICUs Are Filled With The Unvaccinated”. Tyler Durden’ Via Off-Guardian.org, — “ICUs are not “full” of unvaccinated covid patients, they’re not even full of covid cases. In fact, they’re not even full at all.”

‘When science mixes with politics, all we get is politics’ Robert Arvay — “To decry only the skeptics, while ignoring the egregious anti-science of many politicians, does nothing to engender trust in the institutions of science.  It does the opposite.”

Vaccine participation trophies?

The incredible danger of Biden’s America. Bookworm — “Eighty years on, we’re in an America that’s been under leftist influence through the media and the educational system for 60 years.” … “we have an administration that (1) has done away with our southern border, (2) is destroying the fossil fuel engine that powers the western world and is responsible for every one of the creature comforts we enjoy (cars, air conditioning, heat, abundant food, etc.), (3) is stoking race hatred, and (4) is destroying the economy. And that’s not even mentioning things …”

How to help J6 defendants. Sharon Caldwell — “many were arrested for simply exercising their First Amendment rights … ” … “Most of the detainees have zero criminal history and have been upstanding members of their communities for years.” Caldwell suggests the Patriot Freedom Project

Multiple Logical Fallacies Elevate COVID Vaccines Over COVID Treatments. Ted Noel — “The key offender here is something called “relative risk.” … “the Fallacy of the Excluded Middle” … “the Appeal to Authority” … “With such a Sword of Damocles overhead, few prescribers will go near IVM or HCQ. That means they can talk vaxxed or not vaxxed as if those are the only possibilities.” … “We have extremely effective protocols that anyone who gets sick should be able to use, but those bureaucrats can punish anyone who prescribes one of them.”

Comparing Vaccines. Michael Applebaum — “So, how do the COVID vaccines (grouped together for this piece) compare to other vaccines?” … “When it comes to vaccines, vaccinations, and immunity/immunization the definitions depend on the year. … Over time, about 9 years, a vaccine has gone from preventing illness to protecting from illness to producing immunity to stimulating the body’s immune response against diseases. … Next up – vaccines will get participation trophies.”

How they do it.

What Are They Teaching Our Children? John Hinderaker — “Many people are reluctant to believe that the public schools could possibly be as bad as they are being portrayed.” … “How much worse will they become if liberals get their way? Can it possibly be true that liberals want to turn our schools into cesspits of racism and anti-Americanism? Yes, it is all too true.” … “The Left’s poisonous hostility toward the United States is the dominant feature of these proposed standards, and is the essence–the whole point–of Critical Race Theory. And don’t assume that initiatives like these are occurring only in liberal states.”

Ninth Circuit Ignored the Heller Ruling In Order to Uphold California’s ‘High Capacity’ Magazine Ban. TTAG Contributor — “The Ninth Circuit ignores historical context, and cherry-picks language and clings to alternatives to “allow” gun owners to possess restricted magazines and continues to use an interest-weighing test rejected by the U.S. Supreme Court in District of Columbia v. Heller.” … “Aside from the egregiously wrong notion that the government “allows” rights to be exercised, Heller clearly rules out alternative choices as an option.”

That cuts to the heart of what California and their gun control allies are doing. This isn’t just about restricting magazines. This is another attempt to erase Second Amendment rights, first by relegating them to second-rate status, then eliminating them altogether.

Nothing is Anybody’s Fault. Clarice Feldman — “Media Blame Shifting … District Attorney Blame Shifting … Celebrity Blame Shifting … Political Candidate Blames Clear Record … Retail Theft Rings … You could also hold accountable California voters”

Contemporary West’s far left “religions” are as dumb and devastating as radical Islam. Lubos Motl — “the rational, balanced judgement is ultimately the primary cause that gives rise to the potential to create wealth and happiness; it is more fundamental than the wealth and happiness themselves.”

The amount of absolute insanity that is taking place – and that is clearly devouring tons of people around us – is so high that I increasingly insert whole days when I mostly isolate myself not only from the news on the Internet and in the “media” but also from all people who seem likely to be hopelessly brainwashed morons. I just really physically suffer when I am exposed to the human stupidity and its concentration in our environment is just unbelievable these days.” …

We are fighting against all these braindead self-radicalized mammals who, at the end of 2021, still haven’t noticed that pretty much everything served at the CNN, MSNBC, WaPo… are shameless lies and propaganda designed to ruin the whole Western society while making a bunch of lying criminals richer and more powerful. Even more seriously, dozens of percent of the rank-and-file brainwashed loons are actively “improving” all these radicalizing CNN-style lies and they make them even more insane and more harmful because they have been programmed to behave in this way. This is really a transformation on par with the Islamic fundamentalist takeover of the West and before it is really too late, we must appreciate that the outcome of such a destruction of the West would be far graver than the unfortunate neutralization of a few thousand hinged untruthful fanatics which probably has to take place now.

No, Ron DeSantis is not creating a private army to take over America. Andrea Widburg — “Governor Ron DeSantis proposed reinstating Florida’s State Guard — and the entire leftist establishment went mad.  … If sanity were abroad in America, most people would sagely nod and say, “Well, that sounds like a fine, sensible idea, perfectly in keeping with American pattern and practice over the centuries.”  But sanity has left these shores, and leftists, many of whom should be assumed to know better, promptly announced that DeSantis was setting up a private army to take over America”

A Serious Look at the Moronic Variant. Kevin Roche — “aside from my base of skepticism to everything until good data and research is produced, there is nothing in the early data that tells me we should be unduly worried.  I know the CV-19 terrorists will be disappointed. … Which brings up the real issue with how this epidemic has been tracked and responded to–the excessive use and inadequacies of PCR testing.” … “We will never get out of this terrible cycle of futile and damaging responses to the epidemic as long as we keep this idiotic testing regime going.”

Researchers shoot holes in study touted for confirming ‘masks work’ in curbing COVID. Greg Piper — “Study of 342,000 adults finds masks effective against COVID based on 20 infections.”

Vinyl Sales Now Higher Than at Any Time Since 1988. Mike Johnson — “Twelve-inch LPs (LP stands for for long-playing)—introduced in 1948, stereophonic from 1957—were eclipsed by cassette tapes in 1982, and then by CDs in 1987. CDs went on to outsell cassette tapes in 1991, and by 2002 held a dominant 95.7% share of the market. Vinyl records, which had at least two-thirds of the market until 1980, fell to a nadir of just .02% in 2005, and to all appearances were well on the way out.  … Now, at the end of 2021, vinyl sales have beaten CDs for two years running, currently representing 6.6% of all music sales—the highest level since 1988.”

So much on the plate: abortion, election integrity, social panic, totaliarian impulses

Heavy Lifting:

A lesson to be heeded from the totalitarian past. Augusto Zimmermann — “It is increasingly clear the principle of legality is no longer regarded as important by some elements of the judicial elite, at least insofar as governments can allege the ’emergencies’ they declare justify the enactment of measures that profoundly affect our fundamental rights and freedoms. There is an unsettling precedent for the law’s endorsement of the unacceptable.”

Because the rule of law stands in frontal opposition to executive orders which express the temporary will of the government, democratic governments are necessarily bound to exercise their power according to clear, stable, and general rules of law, which must therefore be approved by the elected representatives in Parliament and receive proper public scrutiny. …

THE PRINCIPAL force in the judicial legitimisation of the regime were not the Nazi ‘judge-monsters’, the likes of Freisler, Rothaug and Theirack, but instead the so-called ‘good’ judges who did not have enough courage to question the Nazi atrocities and gross violations of human rights.[47] By not questioning the validity of Nazi rules these judges provided the façade of legal normality to the totalitarian regime. …

To conclude, the contributions of the German legal profession were of inestimable value in the legitimisation of the Nazi regime. The German legal profession provided justification for the murderous actions of that regime, which otherwise would have been recognised as unlawful and devoid of constitutionality. Above all, the German legal profession supported the use of emergency powers that facilitated the ultimate denial of ethics and metaphysics in conceptualisations of the law, which eventually resulted in a lack of legal basis for lawful resistance against that totalitarian regime.

Roe And Casey Were Grievously Wrong And Should Be Overruled – Cooper Et Al. == “The Supreme Court of the United States has done much over the course of American history to protect and secure our constitutional system of government, but it has been far from infallible. This Article is about two of its worst mistakes.”

Here Comes the Limited Hangout. Lee Smith — “America’s Nixonian press corps takes a page from the Watergate playbook to try and cover up its active role in the criminal Russiagate hoax” … “with Trump now safely out of office, it appears that the cover-up is now cracking wide open.” … “A comparison of the media’s role in the two biggest political scandals of the past half-century is worth the time of anyone who cares about what the next decade or so of American public life is going to look and sound like.”

Abortion emotion and other cases:

Sotomayor’s intellectual limitations on display in the oral arguments over Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health. Patricia McCarthy — “She revealed a lot about her own mindset when she referred to pregnancy and perhaps parenthood as an “undue burden.” She clearly has no clue about “viability;” … compared a fetus to a “brain-dead person whose foot jerks when tapped,” … asked, “What are the advancements in medicine?” … “What is shocking is that those lefty justices and the attorneys pleading their case are so ignorant of the advances in medical science and technology that disprove every argument they present.”

Georgia Governor Validates Rossi Findings: Discredits Hand-Count “Audit”. Kevin Moncla — “We spoke with Mr. Rossi, who told us of how he found the issues and the arduous process which eventually led the Georgia governor to review his findings.” … “Sterling excused most of the problems raised as nothing more than expected trivial human error. He went on to discount the others in condescending, intentionally over-complex excuses of Georgia law, claimed Mr. Rossi was not using the correct files and alluded to his failure to understand the process.”

Will the Public Finally See What Happened in the Capitol Tunnel? Julie Kelly — “When Americans finally view the surveillance footage, January 6 will make alleged police abuse at LaFayette Square look like a day in the (federal) park.”

Nevada Judge Gets Something Right: Strikes Down Nevada Ban On Homemade Guns. Herschel Smith — “I am not making a comment on this particular judge – it just seems that they get so many decisions very wrong, and it’s nice to see someone get it right.” … “Never give up, never get disheartened, always fight the controllers at every step.  Counter their every move, all of the time.”

The Counterrevolution and the Republican Party. Jared Peterson — “Here’s an incomplete list of the reality-averse ideas and suicidal policies that America’s ruling revolutionaries have promulgated and pursued since January 20, 2021” … “It can’t be said strongly or often enough, that the destructive madness now passing as federal ideology and policy amounts to an unprecedented revolution more profoundly radical than any other in human history. It includes a redefinition of human nature and the human family; mandatory confession of evil and racism by a nation’s founding and still majority people; rejection of that country’s founding values of individual liberty and the rule of law; and replacement of merit and character with group identity as the primary basis of social reward.”

Flash Mobs’. James Dillon — “The facile assembly of large mobs of miscreants to raid retailers in San Francisco, Oakland, and Los Angeles is even more alarming than it seems.” … “We need to be shocked by a generation’s bold descent into anomy. When absence of conscience becomes commonplace, when sociopaths loiter around every corner and patrol every sidewalk, and when the fruits of a liberal society fall largely to those who least appreciate the origins and purposes of our freedoms, then promises of life, liberty, and happiness for all are in jeopardy, and democracy itself is at stake.”

Science Blah-Blah Horseshit is the Universal Language of Covid. Jeff Maurer — “And it’s why we need to be able to trust institutions” … “Institutions make mistakes; that’s inevitable. But trust waxes and wanes depending on the frequency and size of those mistakes.”

Aussies Gone Mad.  John Hinderaker — “I used to think that Australians are a freedom-loving people, but that has turned out not to be true. Crocodile Dundee is dead; Pajama Boy now rules.” … “UPDATE: This is an interview with a young woman who has just been released from the Howard Springs covid camp. There is much more at the link:”

How Much Longer for COVID Scare Tactics? Steve Feinstein — “So, here we are again: A new COVID variant has appeared on the world stage” … “With Pavlovian predictability, the Democrats have shifted into an even higher “Vaccinate Now!” overdrive gear. This new strain is being used as the latest club with which to pummel recalcitrant vaccine resisters into shame and submission.” … “it seems like a lot of people aren’t going to sit idly by while their daily rights are wrested away from them. Enough is enough. If the 2022 midterms are reasonably honest and trustworthy, we’ll find out soon.”

Bifurcating society

Third Worldizing America. Victor Davis Hanson — “Our elites, like the Third World rich, have mastered ignoring—and navigating around—the misery of others in their midst.”

AMA bringing dangerous levels of wokeness into the medical profession. Jazz Shaw — “They want to do away with “meritocracy” in admissions, claiming that having the schools accept only the best-performing students is “malignant” and “creates harm.” Perhaps even more alarmingly, they want to stress that associating race with genetics in the practice of medicine is equally evil. The result this could have on the quality and medical knowledge of the next generation of doctors and the impact on patients who receive flawed diagnoses is truly alarming. (Free Beacon)”

How the Courts and Bureaucracy Destroy the Constitution. Patrick J. Gibbs — “It has been building up to this point for the past 250 years. The U.S. Constitution was originally designed to divide the powers of the federal government among its three different branches (Congress, Executive, and Judiciary). The 10th Amendment to the Constitution went further and reserved to the States respectively, or to the people “the powers not delegated to the United States.” This separation of powers was intended to prevent a consolidation of power that would inevitably lead to the end of representative government.”

If we don’t stop the monster, it threatens to eat our Constitution and spit out a form of government unrecognizable to our Founders.

Refugees from Communist Countries Are The Canaries In The Coal Mine. Armando Simón — “All the signs are there. Put it all together, add 2+2, and you come out with 4—regardless of what American leftists now claim, like Obrien in 1984. Yet, I know of quite a few people who want to believe that the warnings are an exaggeration, alarmist (even when the enemy openly proclaim a Communist future), or who fervently wish that it would simply go away, who doggedly stick their heads in the sand, who want nothing more than to lead a quiet life. “As long as it doesn’t affect me” “Yes, I’m worried, but it’s going to be all right” are excuses that I have heard. They have no desire to learn more, to get involved, and even less to fight for their country. When it’s too late, they will be picked off, one by one.”

Biden legal defeats rapidly piling up across the nation on broad array of policy fronts. Aaron Kliegman — “On issues ranging from vaccine mandates to immigration policy and racial preferences, federal courts across the country have repeatedly found the Biden administration to be pushing policies which violate the Constitution.”

Federal Judge Expands Healthcare Worker Vaccine Mandate Injunction to Apply Nationally. Sundance — “with these rulings piling up against the White House; and with more and more Americans ignoring the fear porn being attempted with Omicron; we can expect the executive branch to go even stronger in the direction of more punitive punishment using federal mandates.”

Corrupt Politicians Overseeing Jan 6 Committee Are Afraid of the Truth – Bannon’s Subpoenas Scare Them to Death. Joe Hoft — “Americans deserve to know what actions Congress took before, during, and after the January 6th protest at the Capitol.” … “And why are Congress and the DOJ withholding information from those they prosecute who have every right to this information?”

DOJ Prosecutors Using Grand Jury to Subpoena Financial Records of 2020 Election Audit Groups. Sundance — “Remember, when the political agencies under the umbrella of the Fourth Branch of Government (CIA, FBI and DOJ) use their aligned media they follow a particular pattern of using New York Times, Politico and the Washington Post to build the framework of their investigative narratives.” … “The Fourth Branch of Government will activate against any individual, entity or group who is perceived as a threat.”

Smashing and Grabbing Blue America into Ruin. J. Robert Smith — “Zealots can’t be reasoned or compromised with; they aren’t open to either, anyway.  They won’t stop unless they’re defeated and pushed to the margins.  If progressive zealotry prevails, and progressives succeed at imposing their worldview on us, the consequences will be similar to what’s happening in dreary San Francisco and Chicago.  Main streets in our communities will become mean streets.  Americans of good sense and goodwill can’t permit that to happen.”

The Looting Will Stop When Store Owners Can Shoot On Sight. Parker Beauregard — “At once ascribing poverty, immoral historical legacies, and contemporary systemic racism, we are supposed to believe that what is happening is actually a form of justice. – Nothing could be further from the truth.” … “It should be as simple as saying that stealing is wrong. If it is not yours, don’t take it. If you want something, earn it. ”

Kamala Harris To DOJ: Hands Off Black Supremacists. Paul Mirengoff — “Leftists like Kamala Harris want us to believe that white supremacism is a major threat to America. What about black supremacism? To Harris and the left, it’s a myth, and worrying about it is racist.”

The Myth of White Supremacy Is Getting People Killed, But the Media Isn’t Telling You About It. Kevin Downey Jr. — “The left-wing media will continue to cry wolf over white nationalist boogeymen. Joy Reid, a black woman who went to Harvard and makes millions of dollars at MSNBC, will bang that drum all the way to the bank. Racism sells, even when it doesn’t exist (Psssst Jussie Smollett). And if 62 white people get run over in the process, who cares? Reid will just ignore it, and if pressed, she might justify it by recommending white people read one of the ten or so books about Emmett Till. Is “racial revenge” her goal?”

How Culture Got to the Point Where Saturday Night Live is Promoting Abortion in a Clown Outfit. Natasha Crain — “I break down the psychological process of moral buy-in that secular culture must go through to gain acceptance of a changed moral position: awareness, normalization, then celebration.” … “Christians, don’t be surprised. Secular culture will undoubtedly continue to “clown around” with evil. It’s actually quite predictable. – It’s the modus operandi for suppressing truth in unrighteousness.”

10 Things You Need to Know About Today’s Oral Arguments in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization. Chris Queen — “Oral arguments wrapped at lunchtime, but there’s so much that happened. It’s hard sometimes for laypeople to wade through the legalese, but I’ve done the hard work for you, dear reader. Here are 10 things you need to know about today’s oral arguments in Dobbs.”

Justice Kavanaugh Just Boiled the Abortion Debate Down to Its Most Fundamental Core. Larry O’ConnorLarry O’Connor| — “When deciding between the interests of a pregnant woman and the interests of an unborn child, “You can’t accommodate both interests. You have to pick.”

So You Say You Want a Revolution? Sen. Jeanne Shaheen Issues a Warning to the Supreme Court. J. Turley — “these threats are an attack on the very concept of impartial judicial review.  “When you talk about destruction” of our traditions of judicial review, as the Beatles declared in 1968, “you can count me out.”

The COVID con is the ’76 swine flu fiasco on steroids. Selwyn Duke — “I came across a 1979 60 Minutes segment on the propaganda surrounding the 1976 swine flu scare.  … watching the segment drives home how striking the parallels between the two disease scares are.  Exaggerations of the bugs’ severity, media propaganda and fear-mongering, an effort to vaccinate the whole nation, serious vaccine-coincident side-effects, and an apparent government cover-up of the latter were all elements of the ’76 fiasco just as they epitomize what’s occurring today.”

The COVID Vaccine Failure. Jamaica Plain — “The CDC narrative on COVID is simply put: (1) the mask is your best defense, (2) COVID is a pandemic of the unvaccinated, and (3) vaccines are our only exit strategy. However, whenever their narrative falls apart, the emphasis shifts, cover-up lies become bolder, and dissenting science is censored.” … “As Americans, we can either be subject to medical political tyranny or stand for freedoms derived by our God-sanctioned morality. We need to decide whether to fight for our country founded as “a city on a hill” by the courageous who love freedom. Our alternative is a biosecurity state that promises us safety, tells only noble truths, and censors all dissenters. Now is the time to decide: a house divided cannot stand.”

Wading through the swamp. The dangerous critters are those who claim to be the guides.

Sorry, but Hunter Biden’s profiteering matters — even if the rest of the press ignore it. Post Editorial Board — “The Biden files have been confirmed and substantiated eight ways to Sunday. Reporters just don’t want to hear it.” … “The media are out of excuses.”

The Biden family business: Corruption Inc. Mark Powell — “Miranda Devine’s newly released ‘Laptop from Hell’ is a magisterial recounting of Hunter Biden’s misadventures, corruption and the astonishing extent to which he has traded on his father’s influence. Not, mind you, that the current US President is any better when it comes lies and self-interest. The fruit, as they say, seldom falls far from the tree”

“At any other moment in modern history, the laptop’s contents would have been the journalistic scoop that defines a journalist’s career. But such is the world we live in that, even with the publication of this book, much of the world’s media will ignore both its contents and the reek of corruption at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. …

In this post-truth, media-manipulated world we can be confident President Biden will continue to receive a free pass. For the press to dig into the laptop’s contents, to follow the links and expose the connections would be a tacit confirmation that Donald Trump was right. The Left-colonised newsrooms of the world could never, will never, allow that. Apart from anything else it would lay bare their own corruption But as a verse from the wisdom literature of the Bible rightly says, “The man of integrity walks securely, but he who takes crooked paths will be found out” (Proverbs 10:9). Whether that’s in Joe Biden’s current existence or the next one  remains to be seen.

Sunday Talks, Adam Schiff Outlines the Democrat 2022 Strategy Using the J6 Committee – Prediction Tripwires. Sundance  — “The DC system is predictable in how they weaponize their branches against the electorate.”

The motives are obvious: (1) tamp down any election integrity measures; (2) demoralize the MAGA or spirited America-First base of opposition against Democrats; (3) put the Republican Party on the defensive; (4) take attention away from the economic mess caused by the current administration; and (5) provide political turmoil in the ranks of their opposition.

Meet the Technology That’s Uncovering 2020’s Voter Fraud. Jay Valentine — “The search for phantom voters is over.  Phantom voters are sitting next to you at the restaurant or standing next to you at the bank.  They are your friend and neighbor.  You may be a phantom and not know it.” … “These canvassing organizations are the Minutemen of this generation.  They come from every background, organize with no central leadership.  They blindly figured out how phantom voting was happening, and they are forcing states to audit their voter rolls.”

A Tale of Two Cities: Kenosha vs. Waukesha. Victor Davis Hanson — “The media’s blatant lies amount to racial arson.”

Rittenhouse should have never been charged; Brooks should not have been out of jail. The effort to make the former a beneficiary of white supremacy and the latter a victim of it required a level of amoral media deceit that finally was unsustainable even in this bankrupt age.

Undermining democracy with chaos. Abraham H. Miller — “America will not fall to an external enemy, but to internal subversion that will collapse the body politic.” … “the threat is from those who cheer this ideology on, our friends and neighbors who think that wokeness enhances their status as sophisticates, not realizing that in the scheme of chaos they are the next victims.”

Fauci Admits It: Trump Was Right About ‘Living With’ COVID. I & I Editorial Board — “So, it’s up to the public to take Trump’s (and now Fauci’s) admission to heart. COVID isn’t ever going away. We can cower in the basement, dutifully comply with ridiculous mask requirements and intrusive vaccine mandates, and submit to pointless shutdowns. — Or we can do what Trump advised way back when. Act like adults, use common sense, and learn to live with COVID.”

Media’s false fearmongering about Michigan. Igor Chudov — “How-to debunk scarecrow articles and why the VAXXED should be in fear”
