Location: Northern California – Lassen RV Park is located one mile off of Hwy. 299 and eight miles east of McArthur in the foothills among numerous trees. This is 175 miles North of Reno via Hwy 395.
Events and activities: Morning coffee klatch is from about 7 to 9. Shared meals will be Thursday and Saturday around 5 p.m. All gatherings will be informal and BYO (bring your own) to share as suits your karma. Other than scheduled activities, if you want to coordinate and plan, then form your own conspiracy with whomever is handy!
Special activities: The theme of the rally will be Hawaiian. Activities will include a waffle brunch and a catered lunch and a dinner. There will also be various and sundry displays in the screened-in event structure. Other possible events are a lecture by a local historian and guitar entertainment.
Facilities: Gravel roads. Lots of trees. The park has both pull-through and back in sites. All sites are quite roomy and long with nice space in between. They can comfortably accommodate larger rigs. The park has been described as a boondocking atmosphere with most RV park amenities. All sites have water, electricity, and sewer. The park also has a covered picnic area, a shower room and laundry, a BBQ area, and a swimming pool. About the only thing lacking is cable or satellite and cell coverage is ify.
