2009 Airstreams in the Wilds (large PDF file) - Last year, in celebration of the 1959 Wally Byam Caravan to Africa, a rally was planned at "the Wilds". This is a park for the preservation of many species from around the world. It is located in eastern Ohio. It was a fun Airstream gathering with many friends, good food and a trip around the conservation park. Here is a small remembrance of the rally. Dan Bihary did an excellent job in planning and executing our stay. It was true boondocking.

2010 Four Corners Unit Rally in Deadhorse (large PDF file) - Last Saturday Sue and I went to Cottonwood, Arizona to join the Four Corners Unit of the Wally Byam Caravan at their Rally. This was the 4th Annual Dead Horse Rally. It was fun meeting new Caravanners, and old friends. Truly the Club and Airstreams are a great way of life. One of the highlights came when Brad Norgaard presented me with a scale model of my Advance Scout Truck from Africa. Words can not express receiving this labor of love. It was on the drawing board for over a year. Brad kept asking me for pictures and details about the truck and Airstream shell. Then he went about putting it together. Brad's detail work is amazing. Best to everyone, have miles of smiles,  we will see each other on the road.
